I am 6/7 years old again. I'm watching this with my mum who is sadly no longer here. What I would give....to go back to them good old days that i never understood when mum spoke of them. Remember mums and dads miss times too!

I loved watching all these shows as a child in the 1950s...Andy Pandy, Bill and Ben etc...they were very innocent memorable times...

I was born at the end of 1956 and I have some memories of this as well as Andy Pandy and Bill and Ben. I don't really remember ever watching Muffin the Mule although I must have I guess. Spotty Dog should have had his own show.

Wonderful. More than fifty years since I saw this. Oh, the years and the long-gone times. I remember the line "And there we must leave them" so well.

+Neil Jones Where did they go, eh, Neil? Mind you, looking at them now everything was so frightfully middle class, what with housekeepers and gardeners and those BBC accents. I watched the Andy Pandy video, and the presenter called it "Endy Pendy". Lol.

supergran1000 Yes, you're quite right. They speak of a world that was already out of date when they were first shown. If only we could have lived in that very safe world. A friend of mine actually speaks like the announcer. RP - Received Pronunciation. Mind you, she did work for the BBC at one point.

Mrs Scrubbit ! Lol I never heard that name as a child but I sure wonder where all the years have gone. I think we all cry for a lost childhood x Beautiful times indeed when I lived in London in the 50's as an infant x

Spotty dog must be on heat, you would have a field day with a box of matches, with the wooden top's.!
