I have played 2K since 1999, I played a lot of My Career but I was a casual gamer who cared less about online modes or settings tweaking. In 2K16 I started messing with the online modes and I would be laughed at while playing online. I was all in my feelings, seriously, I thought I was good lol. I dismissed the losses with the excuse "its just online cheaters". I enjoyed the idea of online game play with 2K though, so in 2K17, I reached out to my old military buddies who all played these sports sims, and got destroyed in every game we played. I just didn't get it, and moved on to other games. So like clock work the new 2K18 dropped and I started to get that urge, I did a search of 2K18 on KZbin and came across this video and I think I watched a dozen or more of Agents00 videos and translating what I learned into my game and I could immediately tell the difference in my game play, offense in particular. Just by focusing on the release animation, switching to 2K camera mode, and diving into the options that I overlooked as a casual gamer. Great videos for the world of NBA 2K gaming enthusiasts, and casual gamers who want to be better.

CJ McCollum's jumpshot (base Release 73, release Dante Exum, fastest speed) is p nice for me as a SF 6'8" Shot Creating Sharp. It's one of those slower jumpshots that still are quick on release, but timely in the shot meter. Been greening mostly on Pro-Am as well, so that's another bonus.

Take those Normal shots off now... Use Athletic 2 Dribble Pull Up and Normal 21 Hop Step... Way more greens. Plus Normal 14 Hop Step is OP for running and stepping back, which is good for Sharps around screens

Well tho it may be fun to some but other just don't have the time or the patience to struggle for so long while trying to be great. In my opinion being low rated in not fun even more so if you play in the backcourt positions. so for that reason if you have the funds to spare then it's justified to do so. either way you still gotta put in work to get to 90 or even 99. so why not jump start it so that you can compete.
