All types of engines work in generate from small to truck engines, the bigger they are the more watts (power) they give

Another thing you might consider. Pick up the pallets of cement and take them home. Place them down and shovel them down at night when nothing else is going on. This can save you time in the POIs.

At Ellen’s their are 3 munition boxes and a gun safe and lots of gas. One of the boxes is up the stairs from the gun safe/ repair bench. At Ellen’s I leave the outside roller door open as well as the inside roller door and just close the vault door. That way I can easily kill the visitors from inside the fixed metal grate b4 leaving. Every night all doors close so you have to open them each day when you visit

Yes we also found out the hard way that the recycling bench needed power, we also can't even get a 4X4 repair without researching all the vehicles going to be day 50 before we have wheels at the rate we are going

9:00 IMO you should explore the area south of where your map arrow is. you may find wasteland, which would make that a more centralised location for your base. in the pine forest so dangerous shit don't spawn so often near home (except bears n dire wolves) not too far to snow for decent loot, not too far to desert for oil shale and if wasteland is further east perfect to build horde base on the border to maximise loot bags on future horde nights. JMO

Yep, use the car engine. The bigger then engine, the more power they produce.

@@kylrean3891 i used 1 car engine to power my horde base with 8 fences 2 spinney blade and a turret and there was still LOADS more I could use

Great progress and superb effort getting so many things handled! When there's so many things you can do, it can be tough staying focused on things you should do. (Game = Life...sigh) Building your own base is a smart move in UL because if you plan a little you'll get all the space you need for the many, many benches and forges.

If you buy the advanced repair kit I recommend using it to research how to make more so you can make more down the road instead of spending 2.5k for 1 augur repair. :p

I notice you keep killing all the chickens you see. Perhaps you might consider looking up the requirements for making chicken coops. You feed them seeds and they will give you a random amount of eggs and feathers. Also, keep an eye out for bees when you cut down stumps. You can also craft apiary which will give you honey comb to make honey.,
