The thing they do with their arrangements is add dynamics. The original of this song is kind of boring to me because the lyrics are nice but the music doesn't really stretch in range or dynamics. WIth PTX's arrangement, they start simple and then build to their chair positions. Then they do their layering with Kevin showing off something new and Kirstie doing her flirty (Kirstie rhymes with flirsty) thing. They have built to a climax and then come back down. So you have these dynamics that makes the song better than the original, imho.

Im sorry, but I HAVE to say this cause it's making me crazy. Its not your fault autumn, but that of every reaction Ive seen to this video. For some reason, when they first deliver the line "I think that Ive found myself a cheerleader" there is a harmony line that is sung right after which fits the song perfectly...it goes AO...AO. Its an important part of the early harmony in the song, yet for some reason, every single reaction Ive seen so far......the reactor is talking over that AO/AO part and they completely miss it, and its importance in the harmony. This makes me nuts, and I know it comes across as anal, but I cant help it. Just once, I'd like a reactor to NOT be talking during that part.....to notice it, maybe even comment on it afterward....but EVERY single reaction Ive seen they decide to talk right at that moment.

Sometimes when I listen to their songs, the background harmonies are what stand out most to me. But in this case, I'm just singing the melody right along with them. Good ear!
