I don't understand, where do you put the battery? Relax, I get it. I personally prefer the sweep hand as there is something about watching it sweep that invokes my interest in watches. However, this movement is unbelievable. Well designed for ease of use.

I really, REALLY, love this watch! I am very biased, however, towards my Montblanc 4810 Orbis Terrarum though. What I appreciate about my Orbis is that there is a pusher that allows me to change my reference city with ease. While traveling, if I cross a time zone, I just push the pusher to line up the current reference city that I’m in. Done fabulously by Montblanc using multiple sapphire discs that also has a nice day/night indicator employed. JLC requires you to pull the crown, and line up the hour on the 24 hour disc to the reference city. I do consider the JLC to be a more aesthetically appealing watch to the Orbis, and JLC is obviously the more accomplished brand. However, I would not trade my Orbis for it. Just my 2 cents.

Trust me he is not unaware of that. If there is a single guy who knows almost everything about JLC, it´s Tim lol sometimes there is a lot to say about a watch so something slips through

This is nice, but I prefer the Omega AT World Timer.

Owned both. Still own the JLC. The Omega is built like a tank and has lovely dial - but even on a bracelet is a bit top heavy and thick cased. The JLC is much more delicate and nuanced in a quirky (good) JLC way. Both can hold their own in within any fine collection - but wear very differently.

I own this watch and it's really easy to set the WT. The DST complicates things a bit as I have to remind myself if I should align the time with the name of my city or with the asterisk.
