Tried this on today at AD in Naples , video doesn’t do it justice, absolutely stunning in person bezel action is incredible but crown action even better. The rep took me outside in the sun and the dial is indescribable like looking into water , will be trading my Deepsea for this .

I won't stop pointing this out about GS/Seiko MM extension clasps - you don't need to pull the small pins for the extension - just push the clam shell locker BACK and the diver's extension can be extended!

This is an awesome watch. The dial, the titanium, functionality. That said, I have an 8” wrist. It is very large. Wouldn’t recommend for a wrist

I just purchased a Black Stream and my goodness what a beautiful piece it is....I noticed on that watch you are reviewing already has scratches on the case on 0.21 frame. Sad...some should be more careful especially for a 11K plus watch

I just wish they'd design the hands a bit more cohesively, they look too 'fat'... and I my opinion a bit disproportionate relative to the dial architecture... Otherwise as I remember the Seikos as a kid, still one of the favourites for me!

Grand Seiko has been making dive watches for many years now. So many difffrent names - SBGA, SBGH, SLGA, SLGH and they are either titanium or stainless steel, automatic or spring drive. But it is still the same watch - same diameter and thickness (extremely large), same dials and hands, only different in color, and same ugly clasp. No improvement at all. I believe GS is capable of making excellent watches that can beat or if not, can at least be on par with Rolex and omega. But I wonder why they kept on doing things that make people turn away instead of attracting. Why would they refuse to listen to people's comments and call to make equally good watches to compete with other high-end brands? Is there politics behind it, forcing them not to level up? If you put GS side by side with Rolex and Omega dive watches, especially on the wrist, you will immediately see that GS is way behind in design, the proportions the bracelets and the wearability. One can always find Rolex and Omega sitting beautifully on the wrist with their nice design and right propotions. GS focuses so much on size (which only few don't worry so much about), zaratzu polishing, and fantastic dials and that's it. They never think of balance, giving attention to other equally important parts, and completing the beauty of their work. What a waste of their well established name!
