AP is able to build elegant, subtle nice looking watches, but they solely rely on the sales of the Royal Oak. It's such a vulgar, over-the-top, yet lame and boring watch. Hope, CH only wore it because he got paid to do so, as I thought of him to have better taste than this.

Many watch companies sign endorsement deals with influencers of society. Rolex themselves spend over 100 million dollars a year paying these people to wear the watches. Then the window lickers see their favorite idol wearing the watch and then do everything they can to buy something from that brand to feel a fake ass connect to their idol. It’s call hype. These people are not wearing these watches because they like them. They are leveraging their brand to get paid to wear them. Let that sink in for a minute 🤔
