Word of God: According to this interview with Joe Russo: -2014 timeline Thanos and Ebony Maw were able to figure out how to synthesize Pym Particles and subsequently mass-produce them in order to make the jump into the prime timeline. -When Captain America traveled back to the alternate 2014 to return the Soul Stone to Vormir, he met again with Red Skull, but they weren't hostile to each other, as it was Rogers' mission to deliver to stone back while Red Skull's mission was to guard it, adding that Red Skull is no longer the same as he was in Captain America: The First Avenger, with his only purpose now being to guard the Soul Stone. -By traveling back to the 1940s, Captain America created a new branched reality where there were two Captain Americas: the one we met in The First Avenger and another one who was encased in ice. However, the Russos refuse to state what happened in that new timeline, saying that it's a story for another time. -According to Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus, the Snap also affected other dimensions like the Quantum Realm, stating that Ant-Man's survival wasn't because he was trapped there, he was simply lucky. -The Russos stated that Steve was always worthy of Mjölnir, and just didn't pick it up until now because it would have made Thor feel less special. Kevin Feige later confirmed this in an AMA on Reddit as well and Joss Whedon revealed that this was his intention with the party scene back in Avengers: Age of Ultron. -In response to the popular fan theory about Ant-Man entering into Thanos' anus and then expanding himself to make Thanos explode, Christopher Markus revealed that due the strong nature of the Titan species, Ant-Man would have been unable to expand himself and get simply crushed to death against the walls of Thanos' mighty rectum. -Joe Russo stated that upon using the Tesseract to escape custody, the 2012 Loki created a branched new reality in an alternate timeline, and that they don't know if Captain America was able to find Loki upon traveling back to that timeline to deliver back to the Time, the Mind and the Space Stones. -After Spider-Man: Far From Home showed that the un-snapped people were brought back right where they were before, some fans got worried about the implications for the likes of people who were in airplanes at the time. It was then stated that Bruce made sure that everyone who was brought back was in a safe position. -According to a Twitter post by the Russo Brothers, Noobmaster69 is Wong. Prior to this, a favorite fan theory was that he was Deadpool. -According to Kevin Feige, Thanos's use of the gauntlet to wipe out half of all life in the universe is called the Snap - which aligns which what MCU fans have been calling it, the use of the gauntlet by Banner to reverse it is identified as the Blip. -According to Jim Starlin, Thanos' double-bladed sword and the twirling motion used to block Iron Man's blasts were shout-outs to the rotors on the Thanoscopter. -While the writers disagree with the directors on the exact nature of the resolution of Captain America's story, they've stated that Captain America traveled to 1948 when he met Peggy again, making it set after the events of Agent Carter. -The Russos stated in an interview that Richard Rider and the Nova Corps were canonically present for the Battle against Thanos' forces at the end, even though they were never seen on screen. -It was stated that after Captain Marvel's stinger, the Avengers filled Carol in on what had been going on, and from then, she used a tracker given to her (likely by Rocket), in order to find Tony and Nebula in space.

I don't get the dislike for Hawkeye. He's a good character when they bother to use him. Killing him off and leaving his family would be pretty harsh. Originally it was supposed to be Clint who went over the cliff but I can't remember if it was one of the writers or producers who came at the Russo Brothers and basically said you can't take this moment away from her. Her entire arc has been building to this moment. Getting the red out of her ledger. Saving her family. The aftermath of the snap gave her a purpose and it all led her to that moment. If Clint had taken that away from her it would've been fairly hollow.
@wonderlandian8465 Жыл бұрын
The thing with Black Widow is that indeed this made sense for her to sacrifice herself, Hawkeye had a family and she was basically a rolling stone her entire life, this was her family and she did what she had to do to protect them. What i and i know other Marvel movie fans where upset about is how they killed her off before she could take part in any of the iconic "Avengers Assemble " set pieces. They even had a scene with all the female characters of the franchise and arguably the most iconic one and part of the original 6 wasn't there. Also the fact that they had the movie about Black Widow come out after this film, basically cheapening it as a whole. it's just a bit of an abrupt ending to a character that many of us loved from the movies.

Every time I see someone watch it for the first time I think of how it was in the movies. Everyone crying when Tony died then at the final tribute at the crowd erupted. Fun fact, when the first Avengers movie ended the actors names came in the order of RDJ first. In Endgame he comes last bringing it full circle.

Man, seeing this on premiere night was an experience. We all cheered during the major scenes, and I've never felt so connected at a movie theater like that.

It's funny, someone did an analysis on the chances of a rat stepping a button based on the number of rats in a city block and the amount they travel in a day.... turns out you there's better than 50/50 odds that a rat would step on the button within 5 years.

My mom loved Thor's hair and was so upset when they cut it off in Ragnarok. I got her to watch this movie by telling her he grew it back. She was not amused.

Randomly, the closed captioning says M'Baku shouts "DIE!!" as he runs toward the bad guys. That's his only line in the movie. That makes me laugh for some reason.

If no one explained it already, I think the best way to think of marvels time travel (although the scene with cap being old at the end doesn’t follow this rule) if you go back in time and change events it doesn’t mess with your timeline you go back to. Changing the past would just create an entirely new timeline of events.

The Ronin story was longer in the h he comic books from what I understand. There was a whole mystery where people tried to figure out who Ronin was. Pepper's death scene line was so devastating. Yes, they are setting up Young Avengers. Cassie Lang: Stature Billy and Tommy Maximoff: Wiccan and Speed Eli Bradley: Patriot Kate Bishop: Hawkeye
@toamszkozak88223 жыл бұрын
Yeah but in that story Hawkeye wasn't Ronin, IT was Maya Lopez aka Echo and she was the first Ronin in the comics and she will be in new Hawkeye series
@Avocado113 жыл бұрын
@@toamszkozak8822 And it was originally going to be Daredevil since that was clearly being built up at the start of the New Avengers run. So he introduced a new character and quickly pushed her to the side since his plans were for Daredevil not her.

Is Ravenna Rennslayer cultivating the Loki's through the time loops to get to Kang? I think that when she says that she is looking for free will she means the only one with it:Kang. She is able to put Mobius down so quickly because she is doing what Kang has already done, navigated forward in the way she wants it to be.

At the end of Iron Man 3 after he blew up all his suits he got the surgery to remove the shrapnel from around his heart and take out the arc reactor so his life no longer depends on it. The thing he ripped off his chest and gave to Steve was just a housing unit for his nano tech. Watching any movie in the MCU is like studying for a pop quiz or taking a pop quiz. You never know when they'll mention something that happened in a previous film or what will be relevant in the future so you have to pay close attention to everything cause it's only going to get more complicated with the multiverse opening up.

49:43 Those ones started the train rolling but Spider-Man ($825M) was the one that did the biggest chunk, bigger than Blade ($131M), X-Men ($296M) and Fantastic Four ($334M) combined. But since Marvel sold the rights to everything still have others like Hulk ($245M), Ghost Rider ($229M) and Daredevil ($179M) bringing in a good chunk for them. Luckily many companies didn't know what to do with properties like Iron Man, Thor, Cap and Ant-Man so they let the rights go back to Marvel.

It's a branch timeline, so nothing they do will effect their timeline. Loki (tv show) retconned allot of stuff though and introduced a tonne of plot holes. The point of a branch timeline is to avoid paradoxes when travelling back in time. But loki messed it all up.
