Direct line of succession. Blade leads to X-Men. X-Men to Spider Man. In the early 2000’s there were some ups and downs with the Marvel comic book movies. Then came Iron Man that COMPLETELY formed the MCU. Without Blade there wouldn’t be the MCU.

If you think about in the first movie when Whistler told Karen that the vampire nation owns the police dept. Its a good chance when the cops were shooting at Blade while he was rescuing/abducting Karen from hospital some of them probably knew who he was and if Karen got shot and killed while he taking her from the hospital the cops probably would have blamed Blade.

The idea was that either Dracula doesn’t disintegrate because he was born perfect, and so he shape-shifted into Blade as a gift to him for being a worthy enemy, so the police would think Blade was dead and give him a chance to start anew, or that Dracula wasn’t actually dead, he was strong enough to survive the infection, and so he’s just hibernating while he heals, and looks like Blade to again give him a chance to escape police notice.

Please watch Dolores Claiborne from 1995. It’s Stephen King’s favorite adaptation from one of his books and stars Kathy Bates. It’s also her favorite role. It’s a masterclass in storytelling. ❤❤❤ I’ve never seen blade. So I won’t be watching this just yet. I did like the video though. And am commenting for the algorithm !
