4:05 wanted to point out, in the first episode he appeared in, they had another version of his theme, it was just much more subtle. Almost feels like they are building it up as we get closer to the end of the season

Do you know which episode he first appeared in? I looked all over and only see him first in the start of episode 7, where the ost is completely different, like a somber melody, rather than a subtle verizon of the 4:05 mentioned theme.

I do see episode 3, when talking about how Abydos students are more difficult than the data suggested, and how this guy will find out why the data changed, but that also sounds different but villanlike from the theme so I think citing ep 4's post credit scene is true? Not sure

I use aniwave (formerly 9anime). I also saw post credits of ep 3 and saw him but the just wasn't the same either, just a villany OST, so I'm not sure if you meant ep 3

I like some of the anime original soundtracks but they really should use the base game soundtracks. I did not like this version of the Black Suit theme, they should've used the originals and used soundtracks like "Morose Dreaming" and "crucial Issue" and use original remixes of osts like "Underwater Jungle" and "Sakura". But I did really like the anime original theme they played for the terror time-line

I think the anime soundtrack is doing its best. For what its worth, when the original game's music goes as hard as it does for every single track, expecting the anime to exceed that is basically an impossible expectation. Just having every track be consistently good might be a bit much; Not to say that any of the tracks so far are "bad", but some are just "good enough" at their job. But I agree, that first track of the first episode was such a good fit for the scene, definitely at a level comparable to Aoharu.

@@KasseCoronet6556 I still whistle or hum that tune every now and then and I rewatch that scene just for that tune. I agree that the game osts don't always fit the anime but the Black Suit theme should've been left untouched, and they should've used themes like "Morose Dreamer", "Moment" or "Sugar Story" for emotional scenes like Hoshino contemplating her situation with Black Suit and Yume or Shiroko telling sensei why they want to keep Abydos running despite all the hardships while using a mellowed out rendition of a soundtrack like "Honey Jam" or "Midnight Trip" for scenes where they're just walking while talking on streets like that scene where Shiroko and Serika were walking down the road at night, just mellowed out versions. And god do you know what I would've given to hear any version of "Hifumi Daisuki" playing in the background when Hifumi showed up? I'm not saying the anime is bad, heck I really love the anime version of the "Aoharu" Ost with the Abydos girls voicing it. On the upside, the fan service was superb. The animators knew what kind of animals we are (and thank god for that). Buffed Aru, Child bearing hips Hina (💢💢😭😭😭) , feet looking extra lickable Iori(😛😛😭😭) , Nya Nya Hoshino, extra expressive Serika and Nonomi with really cute expressions, Haruka showing extra thighs (I swear on god I sniffed the frame with Haruka's behind showing on the episode where Shiroko gave a thumbs up more than once), and sensei's character design that explains his passive skill rizzler being active 24/7 but there were downsides (YUUUUKAAAA, YOUR THIGHS......THEY GOT NERFED......WHHHHY) like how they cut off the Prologue with Wakamo in it, downplayed how much of an out of pocket degenerate sensei is. I hope they animate sensei licking dem feet. I hope to god they do I need to see it. I need to see dem feet from toe to pinky animated with absolute perfection being licked by sensei. But honestly, despite my grievances I love this anime. Especially the CQC scenes with hand to hand combat. (also I need more Hina thigh shots, I licked the phone screen for real).

Aside from that, they interacted in the final chapter too (which is a bigger story lol). On early chapters, all they interacted with were just Problem Solvers, Prefect Team, and Hifumi. Millenium nerds tend to just stay inside their club room doing their stuff after all lol
