Channing Tatum's Gambit is true to the actual comic character; he's not spitting gibberish, he's speaking Cajun, which is what comics Gambit should primarily speak.

There ~IS~ another hilarious Easter Egg in this scene: Channing Tatum is clearly a fan of Rudy Ray Moore; The story of Remy's "birth..?" Was almost EXACTLY like Petey Wheatstraw's! That's right..! "Le Diable' Blanc" was born juuust like "The Devil's Son in Law!" 😈 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 😎✌🏼

If there was a superhero movie series made by a Canadian for Leo, it would be Deadpool. Welcome back to Vancouver, Canada (and the X-Men Castle scenes were shot in Victoria, on Vancouver Island). Hugh Jackman gives a really strong performance as Wolverine that goes beyond a cool superhero. He's actually believable as a character. I used to live down where the big fight scene near the end was shot with all the Deadpools and I still get a laugh out of it. Yeah, that's it guys. Just ransack my entire city.

26:23 Basically, the first Blade movie in 1998 revived interest in superhero movies and sparked the interest in movies starring Marvel Comics characters. Before Blade, we mostly only had was Superman and Batman movies with a few much less successful exceptions. But when 1997's Batman & Robin was a box office disaster, a lot of Hollywood studios didn't wanna touch superhero movies. But a year later, Blade came out and was successful enough to show that audiences were still interested. Two years later, the first X-Men movie hit, then the first Spider-Man movie hit two years after that, and they all spawned successful and extremely profitable franchises. The deals that Marvel Comics made with Hollywood studios to produce movies based on those characters earned them enough money to eventually create their own movie studio - Marvel Studios - and make the first Iron Man movie in 2008. Of course, that led to all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we know it today. So if it wasn't for Blade's success, none of that probably would've ever happened. It could all be traced back to Wesley Snipes' Daywalker. Also, if Ryan Reynolds had not been in Blade Trinity, he wouldn't have learned who Deadpool was because the Blade Trinity production crew were the ones who introduced the character to him, and the Deadpool movies also likely wouldn't have ever been made.

Your still need to watch this a few more times. I'm a dyed=in-the-wool Easter Egg junkie and I'm still catching a few missed Easter Eggs on my third viewing. One I caught first run through, that a lot of others missed, is during the Honda Odyssey fight scene. The first song that plays on the radio (when DP's face is getting slammed into it) is the theme from Hugh Jackman's movie "The Greatest Showman". I think Ryan Reynolds was trying to break the World Easter Egg record in this one and I love it!

The thing that weirds me out the most is how the actress who plays Cassandra is the same actress who played Princess Diana in "The Crown" (an awesome TV series, btw - you should check it out) ...and I can't unsee it.
@coldfire228 сағат бұрын
When the Professor died in X3, in that movie they hint at what happened. He transferred his consciousness into his comatose twin brother that Moira was taking care of. That brother was sort of based off the idea of Cassandra Nova.. of course it was sort of whack, but yeah that is how they can write it off. Seeing the short Wolverine was hilarious. Yes, in the comics he is a ridiculously short 5'3", but even then they don't always draw him accurately. He has been seen standing taller than people that are supposed to be 5'8" in some panals. Personally I think if they go "short" it should just be like 5'9" or something like that. Anything below "average", but Hugh proved that his height does not matter at all. His attitude/character, his healing factor, his adamantium skeleton and his claws.. those are the things that matter. Hell, in that movie Henry Cavill did with Alan Ritchson made me realize that if you just have a taller Sabretooth, he can call anyone smaller than him "runt" and it would work. Cavill isn't a little guy, but he looked little as hell next to Ritchson.

Explanation: The professor had an identical twin in XMEN 3 in the FOX X-Men timeline similar to how he had this paternal twin Cassandra Nova in the timeline which she was from. The 2 pairs are variants. Random differences occur with variants, and in one case one was male, another the variant was female(Cassandra). His male identical twin in the FOX timeline was brain dead, never had a consciousness, but was still living, being watched over by Moria, and when Jean disintegrated Charlies his consciousness moved and his brain awoke in his brain dead twin's body. We already know that Charles can take over other people's minds. With this one he stayed there. Reminder, this is science fiction fantasy. Like the comics, It's not supposed to make actual sense.

So here's my theory. They kept it vague about why they needed Deadpool to join the Sacred Timeline. What if they are trying to find a new anchor being for the Sacred Timeline (since protecting THAT specific timeline is the purpose of the TVA) after Iron Man died in Endgame? "An entity of such vital importance that when they die, their whole world slowly withers." - This movie references later how the MCU hasn't been the same since Endgame. "An act of self sacrifice SO EPIC that it sent shivers down the timeline." - could equally apply to Tony Stark.

Gotta remember Charles could do all that. But he’s all about consent and free will. So he doesn’t. Like he probably could’ve stoped Jean grey in 3 but he just refused to go that far. Where as Cassandra has some abilities stronger she said herself “I have to get my hands dirty” meaning she needs a physical connection to her targets. Charles controlled two mutants loyal to magneto sitting in a car over 70 yards away. Could’ve ended him right there and then but spared his friend Eric and Eric says that he never had the guts to do what needs to be done.
