I appreciate your telling us what other teams successfully run the same plays. Too many people think we're running something odd when we're not. I see plenty of open receivers, but either the offensive line or the inexperienced QB doesn't allow us to complete anything but the short throw. For viewing continuity, it might be helpful to separate the offense/defense into their own videos or keep them together in sections of one video.

Obviously Napier still needs to hire an OC in the offseason much like he hired Armstrong, but I was pretty impressed with his play designs in this game. It shows he is capable of being at least somewhat creative. Hopefully he continues to do that the rest of the year so we are in every game we play.

If Mertz could hit the downfield throws, this offense would look so different. He has absolutely whiffed on almost every downfield throw this year. And the one dime he dropped, Ricky dropped it, lol. It feels like it's a timing issue more than anything else. Mertz can definitely read the defense very well sometimes, but then other times he completely misses wide open players running through the defense. Billy's offense doesn't look so bad under the microscope, but it sucks in real time. I can understand the frustration in both the coaching staff and fan base.

I want to win but competing is what Florida needs to do, every play the entire game. No more 33-14 or 24-11. NO MORE.. Florida has to stop acting like its just another game. 2 away games Florida was not ready. The good news is about this time last year when we though Florida had turn things around they beat Texas A&M on the road. In a game were most Gator fans didn't think we win. Here we are again and just like last year Florida is an underdog to a team with a worst record. How ever just like last year we than go on to play Georgia and a home game against Arkansas accept Arkansas more like that LSU team from last year Florida will be favored but can we pull it off. After that comes the toughest 3 game ending Florida has ever had, LSU in Death Valley got to go to Missouri and a great FSU team at home. If Florida doesn't get better that could be 0-3. We need to beat South Carolina to a 5th win.
