Damn Brandon is spitting. "If you can't control your lust, there's nothing you won't do." the thing with the Northerners, including Cat because she spent her time in the North with Ned is that they're not used to the politicking in the South. Jaime is imprisoned yet he has the whole camp in disarray because they expect him to do the noble thing. It's like Littlefinger said about Ned and the Starks, quick tempers and slow minds. All of the Starks are getting an education in this like Jon with the Wildlings, Arya with Tywin, Bran + Rickon with Theon's betrayal, and Sansa in King's Landing.

Yea, but the slow minds part doesn't apply to all of them. It was just that Ned in that moment didn't even THINK to assume that Littlefinger was telling the truth, even though it would make absolutely no sense for him to be lying about that. As for why all of them need education, it's simply because they didn't grow up like that, not because they're dumb. It's like a person born into wealth, not understanding the working class. It's not a matter of intellect, just that they have 0 experience.

Exactly. The list of double standards is actually very long, I can't write it obviously because of spoilers. Many times either the writers try to show Dany in a bad light or some viewers blame Dany for this or that, when actually other characters did either almost exactly the same thing or even worse, yet get no blame or no bad representation for it. Sometimes they even get applauded for their drastic actions...

Unpopular opinion: but I actually like (maybe respect is a better word) Tywin Lanister. Ill admit he can be cruel, and hes definitely not a "good" guy....but hes strong and intelligent and cunning, i think he respects that in Arya and thats why he treats her the way he does. He's like a ruthless version of Tyrion. He sees everyone's intentions at just a glance and he's clever enough to know how to defeat any enemy. Like a grandmaster of chess.

She told Sansa to love no one but her children after she tried so hard to please Robert but she really wasn’t the one he wanted, so nothing she did pleased him. She gave up after that. You’ll see. But she was actually empathizing with Sansa bc she hates the king she was married to also. I don’t think was insisting that they shouldn’t have a relationships with their father.

Yeah he’s not. But it’s not his fault. The show runners ruined her character. Most of the scenes that make her look mad are not even from the books or they were changed from how they were in the books. To be fair Jamie never killed his cousin in the books. This whole storie was made in Series to show Jamie in more evil perspective. In tv show most of characters are shown black\white while in original they are grey and more complex.

Going crazy? The woman is a Targaryen, her house's motto is fire and blood for a reason, Daenerys is the purest Targaryen essence. Aegon and his sisters killed thousands of people, "kneel or die" how do you think they got the seven kingdoms? Asking politely? And people still idolize him.
