Back in April, Deborah James came on the show to raise awareness about bowel cancer and hoped to help people get over the embarrassment of talking about certain types of cancer. If you have symptoms of cancer or ibs how can you tell the difference as they are the same so difficult to tell the difference apart because they have same symptoms in both 🤔

Severity can change. IBS doesn't cause regular weight loss and more importantly it doesn't cause wright loss to the degree that bowel cancer causes. You know what's "normal" for your IBS symptoms so if it the symptoms became more severe I.e. much more frequent, worsening diarrhoea etc then that's the time to tell the doctor so they can investigate.
