Missy was famous for adding on a piece of one of her other tracks to her videos to help get more of her music heard. Since we were all addicted to MTV back in the day, it was a great way to showcase another song from the album and get you to buy it. She is really the Queen of Hip Hop/Rap video.

On and On, the song tacked on at end of the Lose Control, is also a bomb! I also enjoy her not previously released “Swat Dat Fly”-so unique and funky

You should do Busta Rhymes next, but specifically his videos from the 90's, as they had a similar vibe (Hype Williams who directed "The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly)" video, did a bunch of his videos too, and just as wild). "Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Could See", "Dangerous", "Gimme Some More" and "What's It Gonna Be?!" ft Janet Jackson, would be the perfect four to do. And ofc, there's still a ton of wild Missy Elliott videos to discover, so this can easily have several follow-ups.

This is probably me being greedy but I'd love a part 2 lol. Missy just has such a brilliant videography, and I want you to see everything. I'm thinking "Sock It 2 Me (feat Da Brat & Lil' Kim)," "Beep Me 911 (feat 702 & Magoo)," "All n My Grill (feat Nicole Wray & Big Boi)," and "Hot Boyz (feat Lil' Mo, Nas & Eve)."

A remix of Get UR Freak On featuring Nelly Furtado was on the Tomb Raider soundtrack. I think the set design for the video was inspired by Tomb Raider's Cambodia location.

I never noticed Tommy Lee at the end of the "Lose Control" video! Random. Didn’t know they were friends. Missy, like many artists, likes to add snippets of her other album cuts at the end of music videos sometimes as a promotional tactic. So that’s why you don’t recognize the endings of some of the songs… like at the end of "Get Ur Freak On" is "Lick Shots", from the album _Miss E…So Addictive_ (2001). That track is a bop in itself! "Lose Control" went into "Say So" from the album _The Cookbook_ (2005?).

Also on the video for "One Minute Man", with Luda & Trina, the video ends with "Whatcha Gonna Do?" "Take Away" w Ginuwine & Tweet ends w "4 My People". She edited the lyrics to say "This is for my people, my AMERICAN people," since it was after 9/11. The video for "Gossip Folks" w Luda also features "Funky Fresh Dressed" w Ms. Jade.

You noticed the "trash bag" outfit, but didn't say anything about the sunglasses. 😆 It's that whole headpiece. Yeah 90's videos loved that fisheye lens. The 90's was also a time for experimental sunglasses. 😅 And Missy has a thing for sunglasses, as you saw in her video for "Dripdemeanor". Also I absolutely LOVE "Dripdemeanor" and the video. It's so very Missy: so much fun to watch. Choreography and wardrobe on point, with a little weirdness (hair apartment building on her head 😆).
