It's really cool to see you look back on an old video and give us what was going on in your head and behind the curtain. Plus, it is awesome to see just how far you have come. In this video, you can see side by side how you have evolved and stepped up your game, but at the same time, the thing that I think is the reason so many of us are here is you still have that raw, genuine unfiltered honest take on whatever it is you are showing/telling us about. We have come to trust that you will tell us your real opinion on something and show us not only where it excels but also where that thing/technique falls flat on its face. Then, more often than not, you immediately show us how to fix that flaw or a way to get around it. And that extra bit of knowledge you impart, I would argue, is quite possibly the most valuable. I know I have benefited greatly from knowing the little tips, tricks, and workarounds you have given us and quite often find that even in other situations, a small twist on one of those things you have taught us is the answer to the problem. Keep up the good work, and know that we appreciate what you do greatly.

This video is a perfect example of why you are growing in KZbin popularity. Colorful, creative, and real . . . warts and all. Keep it up.

Appreciate that. Hopefully this channel gets somewhere

This is why I like your videos. Even something as simple as this commentary on your first new product video, can reignite someone like myself, who is incredibly unsure about their own photography journey. The passion for everything you do is palpable and, as a longtime watcher, I hope for your continued success in the channel.

Man, another great video, as always. Yes, we all want to see the first video you did. I love how you were like 11 mins into this video when you said you about rambling on forever. I wouldn't call what you do rambling, there is always something to take away from what you have to say. Keep up the great work dude. I don't even shoot portraits apart from my kids. But I really enjoy watching you and Daniel and feel like I learn so much from you.

I enjoyed your behind-the-scenes commentary. The amount of work that goes into a ~12-minute video is incredible. The Nikon D850 and 24-120 lens are still my go to camera set. I am too old and financially limited to switch to the Z-mount, so I will be happy with the F-mount kit I've accumulated over the years.

Great video, Seth. I think we all need to deal with our insecure moments. But It’s not that important to judge ourselves with what we’ve could have done better or dealing with negative comments from others. It’s about what we make and do next. Just be who you are. And that’s not always easy. At least that’s what I get out of it Very inspirational, Seth. Cool to be able to watch that journey. Greetings from Nuremberg, Germany.

I'd love to see you talk about the first ever video you did for Adorama. This has such a nostalgic feel. It makes me think of the times I've looked at photos that are 10 plus years old. (Yeah, I'm old. Lol) I wondered why I took a photo of that and even more, why I kept it! But after thinking about it, I realized that it was taking photos of everything that caught my attention that kept me in the game while my skills and style developed. I'd like to see how more people have developed over the years.

It’s true. You NEVER know where photography will take you. Growing up watching Sting take on the n.W.o. I would have never in a million years thought that I’d be flying across the country to photograph his final match and getting to sit in on the press conference. This happened after sending out almost 40 emails to get credentials to give AEW for a press pass. I ended up getting 3 outlets to agree to let me shoot for them based on my portfolio. Who’d a thunk?

As a creative it's always interesting to revisit "firsts" The best thing to come away from it is to notice the progression...which hopefully if you've been doing it long enough you'll notice the amount of mistakes you've made and how much you've improved. I need to at some point try to dig up the very first video I've edited, but the times I've dived into the photo archive of stuff I've shot for work during my first two years (if not more as a photographer) and the stuff I've shot personally as a rank amateur the first thought out of my mouth is usually "WTF was a I thinking shooting this shite" 🤣For the most part you just tackled it like a pro and your hair just looks like you sat on a missile being launched some where.

I was taught to keep both eyes open, because your right hand covers your right eye, and you brain will just ignore it. A lot easer than squinting.
@LastXwitness9 ай бұрын
Well I keep both eyes open out of habit and because I use my other eye to keep tabs on the whole scene if there’s something I want to include on the next frame since cropping the rest of the world out is our first decision when shooting

Did you use a Mortal Kombat font for the 60K Subs? If so, bloody awesome!! You can definitely tell how scared (don't think that's the word but similar) you are. You seem very timid compared to any of the videos I've seen you in, ever.
@LastXwitness9 ай бұрын
Nah I wouldn’t say scared but I definitely didn’t know what to say so I was lacking confidence for sure it’s more inexperience of what the end goal there was outside of getting those shots
@brad_in_yyc9 ай бұрын
@@LastXwitness that's the word I was looking for. That lack of confidence. Sorry, I enjoyed watching this but I had a long, exhausting day at work and was half asleep lol. Definitely will have to rewatch it with a decent brain.

Seth don’t ever Dial It Back. Do what you need to do. As far as the PetaPixel guys, well, they banned me from their comments section for expressing an unpopular opinion that was not too complimentary to them. So, screw them 😀 Be goad and thanks!😀
