The reasons why…..I mean Cole told Alex himself, he’s reliable and smart, and then rest of it…Alex can own up to mistakes and apologize when he understands he’s in the wrong, he also hasn’t hooked up with multiple girls unlike Cole. Plus Alex makes it obvious that he loves Jackie. Yes Cole actually did some physical stuff for her but he constantly lead her on, and hooked up with multiple girls. But Alex is portrayed so bad after a couple of episodes. He is obsessed, he is insecure and the writers chose that deliberately. So they really need to up his character again because it becomes worse and worse. Jackie cheated on him, there is no way that they can give it a twist that that can be forgotten if she chooses Alex. If it is Cole then it would be easier for the writers to out that in a light like: she was afraid and bla bla. Or she never comes back and finds somebody else. Or maybe you have an idea how they can make it still believable and how Alex could forgive her?

I don't know Hardin Scott, have to look him up. But Cole is the typical character. Good-looking, knows what to say to girls, and indeed thinks he can have everybody (kind of bossy in the beginning). But a great character is Danny, I hope season 2 focuses on him as well.

This show is so so so good! When I watched the trailer and when I started watching the show in the beginning I wasn’t sure which boy to choose but I was leaning in the direction of Alex. But then as that series went on I realized that Jackie and Alex don’t really work being together that much & he over does it with pda and all. Towards the ending of the middle point of the show I started rooting for Jackie and Cole. They have way more chemistry with each other. When I invest too much interest in her, it’s gives off a needy insecure vibe, i learned this the hard way. Once I stopped focusing on her validation, rather started hitting the gym and developing a skin care routine, other women started paying attention. My partner noticed this and suddenly became more attracted to me, i started sleeping with other women, this boosted my confidence like crazy and now I don’t care what my partner thinks of me, I still care about her but not to the point of needing her. I used to be like Alex, but his LOYALTY approach is ineffective. Cole not caring and sleeping around is a more realistic approach to building self confidence, these are the types of men the get women. Howling at you saying Alex had one sided beef with his brother. That very true cuz Cole much stressed about his future being ruined & his football injury yet Alex resenting him & feeling inferior. I’m definitely team Cole. But I do like Alex and hope he finds happiness with someone…preferably Kiley.

@@averliy4885 Spoilers… It was confirmed that he wasn’t in town, so he had no idea Alex and Paige were together. Paige kissed him bc she wanted the attention & status. Alex knew this but still blamed his brother🥴 Cole is definitely in the wrong for the Jackie situation, but he wasn’t for what happened with Paige.
