During the prohibition era there was a bar called Chumley’s, located at 86 Bedford Street in New York City. It is said that police would call and tell the bartender to “86” his customers, indicating that a raid was about to happen and that they should all exit via the 86 Bedford door while the owner greeted police at the front on Pamela Court. In this case it would be perfect to have an 86 Bedford Street exit, so when Scar and Skizz show up at the front, Doc can greet them and everyone else "86's" out the back.

Another banger episode! I would solve the problem with the elytra triggering by an and-gate using two buried villagers surrouded by wool (to make sure elytra can't trigger both at once) The villager in the laudry won't be connected to anything, he'll be there just as a decoration, all the hard work will be on the burried fellas

It's a good idea, but could be difficult to implement, as villagers only hold an item when a player gets within a very close radius - so Doc would probably need more than two directly underneath the floorboards to cover the entire shop. I've played around with this exploit before, and it is super tricky and inconsistent to use.

A possible solution to the sensor problem could be using the way tango did for decked out. Using sculk shriekers (waterlogged, of course) to detect if the vibration is made by the player (shriekers can also be triggered by calibrated sensors btw, so no need to use a separate normal sensor). Now instead of using that as an activation it can be used to block the output signal from the sensor. This would make it so whenever a player makes noise on channel 4 the entire output gets blocked, thus allowing one to fly without triggering anything. The one downside being that you can't trigger the villger suddenly after flying in as the output would be falsely blocked. Not perfect, but definitely something to consider

2 things for the Laundromat situation: 1) a) if the villager is stationary then you can make sure (with wool) that the sculk sensor can only hear the villager b) instead of one single employee, have multiple so that there's more stations that can trigger the spill 2) Maybe put some puddles in the form of waterlogged bottom slabs and stairs to guide/limit the distance of the spill and hint at past spills, if that makes sense?

There's a part of me that wishes all the hermits were like borderline age rating 16 0r pg 13 plus I think it would also in my opinion help some the hermits loosen up abit more skizz and impulse have mentioned constantly having to remember they on a minecraft server and not in person so there language has been tones down

The poker room looks super cool, I'm sure it'll be a place many hermits enjoy spending a lot of time (and diamonds). I was going to suggest using a second villager hidden in the floor, but after testing it seems like they require line of sight to see the item in your hand. Because of that, I think the best solution would be to restrict your "employee" to a small area, maybe a little clothes folding station, and make the rest of the laundromat out of range of the sensor. Have you decided on a name for your speakeasy? I think one of your details to add next is a fancy name, whether that's something like "The Goat Den" or closer to Iskall's "Grandiose Hotel". Excited to see how things progress!

Mojang should change the sculk sensors to be like noteblocks where the material under the detector determines what subset of signals is detected. it allows the best of both worlds and is already similar to an existing mechanic

@docm77 As you were describing the idea to have an elevator in the laundry machine, I thought that one way you might do it would be to invite each player to the game with a leather armor shirt or trousers, and then have them deposit this to the laundromat with the "cleaning fee", their buy in for the game. I'm not sure you can make that work in conjunction with the villager mechanism, though.

For a key system, you should require a certain trimmed armor piece, so that way they also have to buy the trims at your store to play poker. You could even update the trim needed to keep it secret and keep them buying trims

Here’s an idea for the skull sensor. Keep the villager in a small area, maybe behind a service counter or something. Then place the skull sensor deep enough in the ground so that it’ll only detect the few blocks the villager is standing on. That way the villager is the only thing that can trigger it

An idea for the skulk sensor false triggers: you could use 2 skulk sensors, one in range of the villager, the other out of range of the villager (but still in the building). Like this you could wire them so the door only opens when the one sensor by the villager triggers. When someone would fly in or something else triggers a sensor, it should trigger both sensors and therefor not open the door. (the further away sensor will function like a control for false triggers).

Token idea: use sea cucumbers or candle. Whit right resource pack it may looks like piles of tokens. For every game collect diamonds and exchange it for these "tokens" like in real casino. It could be pretty immersive to show your funds and your bets this way whit out checking chest bank.
