Chemistry is off the charts. Rarely seen anything like it, both series and movies included. You feel it in every scene, even the one in the beginning when Henry chose to ingnore Alex in front of everybody (I'm sure he did protect himself bc he just couldn't handle his crush on him^^). Actually, the coffee shop scene in Paris was the first they did, and boom, chemistry and tension from the very start❤

I love this movie so much, including whatever it is that people are complaining about: how it apparently left so much of the book out (I haven't read it either), yet it was still rushed (meaning it had too much going on, I guess, even though it left things out?), how it was fanficton-y, and whatever the hell else. I love this movie as a romantic comedy, I think that the humor is great, and especially that the love story is beautiful. It's queer, it's between two men, it's incredibly hot and tender and wonderful, and I can really see them being together for a long time (hopefully forever). I just really love this movie so much. ❤

Movie was filmed three hours but had to be cut down to just two. I bet a lot of the transition scenes and also ones fondly remembered from the book were removed. But yes, still love it, after a week or so of binge-watching everyone's reactions to it, and crying at the same scenes, again and again.

I love the book, but the stuff that got cut needed to go. Just two different mediums is all, and lucky us for getting to enjoy both of them.

I'm not sure who the older news anchor is, but the other two are beloved anchors on NBC, Joy Reid and Rachel Maddow, playing themselves. Joy is the one grilling Miguel and Rachel who calls the election for Uma.

After my 3rd time watching RWRB, I believe that Alex's father already suspected things. 'What's your beef with him, anyway? I mean, he seems like a nice guy'. And that smile*ish expression on his face? Seems as if Henry's been an issue in the family for a while. And later, Nora said the same. But maybe, it's just me fangirling 😅😅😅😂😂😂😂🥹😎

Movie was originally three hours long but they were forced to cut it down to just two (meaning a whole one third was taken out). I'm willing to bet there was a breakup scene between Henry and Alex after the swimming scene. Otherwise, Henry would have swam away and they did not talk about what happened and then they went to sleep and then Henry snuck out. Plus the next scene, Henry is telling his sister he broke up when he didn't. Hoping they release the extended version, and soon.

You thirsting over alex is literally me. I couldn't stop calling him hot and sexy every damn second!!!! The kisses are too hot and Henry's sigh and eyes before he left the room destroyed me he looked like wanted to eat alex alive and i don't blame him...I can't blame them both actually..literally send help to both of us lol

Some of the criticism comes from people noticing where they had to cut corners to stay within budget. But if they had had more $ to work with, the powers that be might have started getting cold feet, and cut some of the most tender scenes in fear of turning off a bigger audience. Being safer instead of being as creative and daring.

Yeah, I had the same thoughts. I mean, yes, you clearly see they couldn't fire the big guns money-wise - green screens, cameras. But would we have gotten this beautiful, amazing but yes, also spicy love scene if the budget would've been higher and therefore a more mainstream*ish audience could have been targeted? Hmm....
