The Dying Light is my absolute favourite, gorgeous song...and that particular live performance is even better than the studio one.

The last live performance is at Newcastle arena and Newcastle upon Tyne is where he’s from. He’s a geordie like me 😁 and the black and white flags in the crowd are from wor flags that do the flags for Newcastle United and the black and white top the saxophonist wears is the Newcastle United jersey. And he has the Newcastle United crest on the piano at every show to represent Newcastle as it’s a very underfunded city with a lot of drug addiction, unemployment and housing shortages. With the highest suicide rate in the U.K. and that’s why he wrote the song dead boys. Basically speaking up for the north. Glad you enjoy his music. Not many people can understand geordie lmao
