Well we have Iota in 2020 which was a CAT 5 in November until after post season analysis they downgraded to a 155mph CAT 4

@jasonjackson776017 күн бұрын
Definitely not coming to Houston. Tropical storms and hurricanes don't make landfall in Texas in November.

A whole lot of talking for very little information
@jac4242117 күн бұрын
@FOHguy everything is guess work rn, there’s no way to tell right now where it will hit, if it does hit the gulf coast at all, which wouldn’t even be a TS bc of gulf water temps. too many factors in play and too much time for the factors to change the projection before it gets close to coast.
@FOHguy17 күн бұрын
@joanicooper1422 And she could have said, "We don't know," in a lot less words.
@jac4242117 күн бұрын
@FOHguy i stg i see this ignorance w every hurricane. it’s not that they don’t know, it’s impossible to predict this far out. the point is to make people aware of it BECAUSE we don’t know where it will hit. if i was on the coast of LA or GA rn, id prepare a little and pick up a case of water that id end up drinking anyways if it didn’t hit my area, vs losing my life bc i was ignoring what people who have degrees in this stuff and analyze weather patterns and climatology said. in this case shes giving a UPDATE based on information given by multiple sources, bc w the gulf water temps and low ridge in central north america, there’s like no chance it would hit houston. hence why this is a tropical forecast and not a time line on when we should expect it to hit us. which BTW the National Hurricane Center doesn’t even have a specific time it will hit US coastal land bc it’s too far away to predict where it will hit and when.

@@FOHguy bro, meteorologists are responsible to present all information and context to viewers regardless of the amount of info available. Idk why you say there is very little info, there is more than enough info in the video, maybe because you don't really know a lot about hurricanes. Saying "We don't know" is unprofessional and makes for a short ass video.

@DavidLe-vr1xl Hurricanes? I lived south of New Orleans for 20+ years. And a short video would have been better.
