I feel lucky! I stumbled across all of this Minecraft stuff during quarantine in June. I came across Wilbur first, and went from there. Within a month, I watched TONS of Minecraft, ranging from CaptainSparkles, MumboJumbo, TommyInnit, and of course Techno. I got into MCC, DreamSMP, and I’m so happy I got to be a part of all of the hype! Team Techno!

One thing a lot of people don't realize is that tommy is actually really good at pvp he just doesn't make the same preparations that techno does and doesn't really think before going into a battle which is why he gets so badly outmatched by techno but in just pure pvp skill tommy can definitely hold his own

i just noticed. technoblade's first mcc he was in team red rabbits [i think]- and in mcc 16- ranboo, i think phil, wilbur, and tommy were in red rabbits- they didnt win but i think it was cool [plus a lot of people had like lavender bows on their skins, and in one of the comments on ranboo's vod it said that the lavender bows were a contribution to technoblade, so yay :D]

Note on PeteZahHutt: yeah, he's statistically the best player of MCC. But at the point where Evan started talking about Dream, he was already a household name in MCC, typically dominating the leaderboards, and he never had any standout interactions with Techno, so there's not really a reason to include him much in the video. (his content is very chill, though, even if he doesn't do youtube vids much anymore)

Man I started playing hypixel skyblock a couple months ago and haven't rewatched the potato war vids since before I started playing, I literally cant imagine what farming was like without Replenish and Personal Compactors, that sounds like hell. It's already super time consuming to make money on hypixel, having to manually stop and craft enchanted crops after every line of the farm AND manually replant the whole field had to take hours, yikes.

38:15 Pete is number one over all in MCC for sure (Techno technically holds the spot now but *only* because Pete's internet cut out during one event, it obviously does not count) but the loudest and most obnoxious people only seem to care about PVP, which is the one category Techno is consistently better at than Pete. Of course Pete is still good at PVP, just not as good as Techno. Of course the debate over the best Minecraft player is stupid. How do you even quantify "best" in a game like Minecraft that's a sandbox building/survival/adventure game? All the categories are made up by the players, the game itself doesn't have a leaderboard. Speedrunning is something codified by the players, not by the game. PVP was a minor footnote in the game design for years. Parkour is literally all about courses created by the community and has little to nothing to do with the base game. And how would you even decide objectively who the best builder is? Everybody's gonna have a different favourite. So yeah it's dumb to just decide that PVP is the most important thing. PVP is just easy content that gets views, that's all. And even then, for all we know, the person who's actually the best at Minecraft PVP is probably some random kid who doesn't even make videos.
