Hey Jack, developing schizophrenia is very rare only about 24 million people (0.32%) of the population has diagnosed schizophrenia. Plus unless you have someone in your immediate family with it, the chances of you developing it later than life are even more slim. I hope this helps with your fear about it

i mean the main thing is the 'diagnosed' schizophrenia, since i doubt a lot of people would really want to try and get that diagnosis. so the statistic could be much higher, but those people just dont want to get a diagnosis (which is completely reasonable considering how schizophrenic people are treated)

The video with the disappearing figures was 100% an edit, it wouldn't be terribly difficult to do. And usually if it seems to good to be true it probably easy. Also a useful trick, checking for cuts, set it to 0.25 speed, then adjust frame by frame

I used to live in a house that had some odd things happen like footsteps and knocks upstairs when no one else was in the house. one time my cousin woke up to a woman standing at the foot of the bed he was staying in who then disappeared. The only other 'paranormal' experience I had was a full body apparition in plain daylight, It was a woman with short grey hair and a long purple coat. I was in the car and I saw her walking on the footpath next to the road, did a double take and she had completely disappeared. this was on a straight road with nowhere she could have gone or hidden apart from the path or the road. it was really odd.

The rocking chair one is people who have posted multiple videos about that chair on tiktok. It totally looks like there could be enough space to stand in the corner under that camera. Thats how that left pillow is pulled that way. ALSO, I don't know much. But that one where the 2 people disappear looks weird in some frames. Okay I have tuned into literally every VOD, and #6 in this comp is probably one of the most interesting clips I’ve ever seen. i don’t think it’s necessarily fake (though it easily could have been edited), but i do think it’s also likely that the two people walked away while the area was in shadow but due to recording quality / technical issues the outline of them remained after the scene got dark as a sort of “ghost artifact” in the recording, so that when the lighting increased again it looked like the people (their remaining outlines) vanish. weird artifacts / lingering images like that can happen in this kind of lower quality security footage so even though it looks super spooky it seemed to me like what were “seeing” could just as likely be a trick of the recording more so than what actually happened (if it wasn’t edited)

There is this phenomenon called glimmer man. Maybe that's whats happening at 20:00? Alot people have seen translucent people or "predators". The scariest story I've heard from I'm pretty sure expanded perspectives podcast is this family was looking for this campground in Idaho. They where deep in the Forrest and found a reststop and the wife and the daughter went to the restroom and the dad took the dog down a path to go potty and he went pee as well. On the way he saw a quick glance of what apparently was a person and was like "oh sorry" and he looked again and no one was there. He did see the outline of someone in like a Syfy camo suit. The wife was now looking down towards the husband and dog and she saw what appeared to be a massive hologram or green screen like the background mountains all looked fake. I'm not describing the story as good as it was told but it sent chills down my body and I still think about that alot. I'll try and find it but yeah. There's a lot of glimmer man stories
