I am so happy more people are catching onto this show. Hands down the best television of my generation - not to lay claim, this show is for everyone, but I came up watching it and it was so much like my own city that I fell in love with it. One thing I will say is that it is a slow burn with a lot of moving parts, covering everything from the street corners to the police headquarters to city hall. Please stick with it all the way through, I promise it will pay off in the end.

If you like detective shows your going to fall in love 😂 this show is about details! It’s not the fastest pace but the story lines characters and acting is ELITE and when the action does come it really hits hard you did a good job catching on

Many people got lost in first episode, including me. And you, with your understanding, you’re killing it. Quicker than me on my first time or any reaction I’ve seen. YAY! This, and Deadwood, are the two series that I always come back to every few years and re-watch just to be in those worlds again. Such truly epic stories, like Shakespeare's best stuff: violence and tragedy and comedy and a deep look at what brings people together and what tears them apart. I also recommend watching the series Rome, it was actually the first great series I got into, with some wonderful characters and a great attention to historic detail.

@@Dakblasta Deadwood is one you will probably come back to a few times. I really liked getting into the commentaries with the various actors and production staff, especially moments where the actor you are watching in Deadwood is wrapped up in conversation and then something important would happen and they would realize the conversation was wandering and laugh. The set design, lighting, camera work, and background "business" in Deadwood makes it feel like a real place (minus a few CG shots that are forgivably dated), and the characters, acting, and dialogue make almost every scene a masterpiece.

Great choice checking out this show. There's a reason it's known as one of the greatest series of all time. Every second of it beats a lot of modern TV by a mile. How you enjoy it. I know I'll enjoy watching you react to it.

This show really touches on everything, from the detectives to the police to the criminals to the addicts to the judges to city hall to lobbyists. I was a huge fan when it came out, but I hope it can stand the test of time for a new viewer. Interested to see what you think of it!

This seaspn of the show does a GREAT job showing how the instition of Policing, with all it's flaws, stacks up to the intititution of the street. It's a slow burn, but you REALLY has to keep up because everyone and everything might come back later making this show extremely re-watchable.

This series was structured like a Shakespearean sonnet about any American city, but specifically Baltimore. Seeing unlikely characters interact or have impact from what seems are different stories are some of my favorite moments.

I didn't watch this show until it had gone off the air. I just bought season 1 on DVD to watch while on vacation & was instantly hooked! I just stumbled across your channel & subscribing because you are doing The Wire. This show is very well done! Please binge watch & put up 2 episodes per reaction. Then after the series finale read up on the real life backgrounds of the actors. It may blow your mind.

1) That is the best tv show i've watch. Characters are deep. Plot is brilliant. Dialogue are realistic. Emotions are high. 2) For a pilot reaction, i feel your analysis is smart and you will be able to have nuances reflexions, not everything is white or black. 3) I subscribe, good journey. You will never forget this show. It's not a typical cop show.

This show is the best show of ALL TIME easily but requires your attention, it's a slow paced show but the characters are so complex. The writing is chef's kiss worthy. It's one of those shows where ypu will be saying lines from it years after you watch it.
