Hi Brian. Belize, Ladyville. Very dry, hot, dusty, hazy, smokey. Viz around 3000m. Strong smell of smoke in thr air. Many bush fires in Honduras and SW flow bringing smoke to us, so rhem getting rain will help us even if we don't get it.

Hi from Nova Scotia! We've been pretty dry here for the last few weeks. Could do with some rain, although not to the degree that you folks down there need it. As is usual in May, the systems seem to fizzle out before they deliver anything wet. Hopefully no wildfires this year!!! Good luck to all of you down south with the coming rain. Hi Brian. Interesting report especially about what may be developing in the eastern Pacific. Not used to that being a concern yet for this newbie. Anyway, from la peña yesterday, after a day of mostly rain, we got a grand total of .3” after all that. Hot and muggy in Trinidad, but thankful for the reduced levels of Saharan dust. Seeing the GFS model on Tropical Tidbits indicating decent moisture as we continue into May.
