This is one of my favorite movies. The comedy, action, acting...it's all so good. and people who get offended by this movie just don't understand the meaning behind it and the satire. I hate that we can't just have a good laugh without the fear of someone getting offended. Also Louis was the best person to be here with you to react with haha. I also want thank you for uploading during this time. The world is on fire and it's people like you that allows me to escape reality for a bit. Thank you man. can't wait for the next one. take care

Only two types of people are offended. Those that are faking it (virtue signal) and actual morons. It's very simple, and this goes for all comedy/art/speech etc... What is the point? In this case, what is the actual joke of RDJ in black makeup? Who is being made fun of? When you answer that question, it is clear that there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with this movie from a moral perspective.

My favorite gag that nobody really seems to get is the one firing his guy with his hand out. Thats a knock on the Rambo movies where he has the belt fed machine gun and his other hand is holding the belt. But Ben Stillers character obviously doesn't understand that so he's just doing it with a gun without a belt. So its more than him just doing goofy shit. To me that just makes it 1000x funnier.

Robert Downey Jr is so good in this movie there was no way for triggered people to cancel him. Also, very underrated performance from Tom Cruise. I don't think his cast was revealed before the movie was premiered (at least I had no idea he was in it) and when he appeared and gave that awesome performance everyone lost it in the theatre. It was amazing. Edit: RDJ got an academy award and a BAFTA nomination for his role, his only one since Chaplin (1993). Think about that, he's been in great movies in between.

While I'm here, I gotta suggest a "couple" other comedies that I put at or near this one: The Other Guys -- Groundhog Day -- Happy Gilmore -- Naked Gun -- MP and the Holy Grail (ofc) -- Dumb & Dumber -- Hot Fuzz -- Shaun of the Dead -- Rush Hour 1/2/3 -- 21 (and 22) Jump Street -- Big Trouble in Little China -- Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy Might seem like I went ham there, but I actually took it ez. What can I say, love me some comedy. 😆 You won't be disappointed with any of those films, guaranteed.

Tom Cruise loved the script so much, when Stiller decided to cast himself in the lead role (after originally envisioning Keanu Reeves as the lead), Cruise called him and asked "what else is available?" Stiller suggested they write in Les Grossman, a character Cruise had created himself, allegedly based on Harvey Weinstein. Cruise said he'd do it as long as he could have fat hands and dance.
