Their live performance at the O2 singing “I Will See You Again” it’s beautiful. It’s a tribute to Niky and Kian’s fathers death on the same day of the same year. It’s very emotional and very beautiful

I cannot bring myself to listen to that song as I have lost my father as well. And now that Shane has lost both his parents it's got to be even harder for the three of them to sing it. Absolutely beautiful song, but heartbreaking.

Great reaction to 4 amazing songs. I think the sign of great singers and a great band is when they sound as good live as they do on their studio versions and they truly do every time I hear them live. Lastly, as far as the final performance you reacted to goes, you have to realise how special Croke Park is to the Irish. It is the home of the GAA (Gaelic Athletic Association), where the finals of the traditionally Irish sports of Gaelic Football and Hurling take place, and it has an even more historical place in Irish hearts and minds that I won't go into here (during the Irish War of Independence) that I think I'm right in saying means that not any old band is allowed to perform here, and I'm sure this plays into how epic the performance is here and how pumped up the crowd are.

My Heart Will Go On Of course was the theme from the Titantic and Jack Dawson in the movie was from Ireland. So that intro was a nod to the Westlife Irish heritage. 🇮🇪

If I remember, this is one of the first concerts that they sang this after Kian and Nicky's father both passed away a couple of month apart.. They sang this son at both funerals.. 💝🐦

Yeah!!! A new westlife video. They are so fantastic live! Marks voice is amazing, and it still gets beter every year. For ep2 you really should look at a medley of one of the tours. Last year it was ABBA at the wild dreams tour, it is epic. For songs i would say: world of our own, wild dreams tour.

Cannot blame you for fanboying over Mark. I fangirl over Shane. Watching this after Ireland beat my country in the World Cup rugby earlier this evening. The Springboks. Can't be mad. Hope you got to see Westlife when they toured the US earlier this year. I have seen them twice here in SA. They are returning now but not to my city sadly. They sort of owe my city a do over as their last concert here was messed up by the promotors. Sold to us as a WL concert but ended up them being the final act out of 4 and it was shortened due to rain. If you want to see Mark out note a diva, feel free to watch them doing a duet with Diana Ross and another brilliant live performance where Shane is on another level is them doing "Total eclipse of the heart". You might want to take a look at Shane's solo songs too. I suggest "About you", "Beautiful in white", "Unbreakable" (not the WL one but another he has) and my personal favorite, "Me and the moon". Also there was a reason for that intro prior to "You raise me up". That was the last song they sang at their last concert after breaking up. Hope that explains the teary eyed girls and their emotional exit when going down again. Shane also was broke at that point and told none of them. Literally had only a few bucks left to his name. Lost it all in a market crash trying to build affordable housing. Said he easily could have asked them to stay together a while longer so he can build up some cash again but was not going to be that selfish and was not going to bother them with his troubles. He got back on his feet again by himself. By the way, they performed "You raise me up" for Queen Elizabeth and got to meet her too.
