Fun fact : Chen tends to sing higher notes a lot but his most developed register is lower register. He has one of the most developed lower register among kpop idols despite being a dramatic tenor. He probably is the best even.

6:58 Dude on the left is right. After the bridge, Hwe Seung actually takes the higher harmony (listen for Chen's signature vibrato on the melody in the final chorus on words like "else" and "town"). Chen ends up taking the even higher harmony at the very end, but before then Hwe Seung's belting the higher harmony. I had never listened to N.Flying before coming across this vid a few months ago but Hwe Seung has a great voice!

these 2 are considered as one of the best vocalists among the 3rd gen idols. it's unfortunate that N.Flying is not as popular as they should be. Hwe Seung said that he was surprised when he 1st heard Chen singing that he almost missed singing his part. i really hope they do a collab soon. Thankyouuu so much for this reaction. Chen is just top tier. Hweseung is no less. The part where the left guy asked who hit the higher note, it was Hweseung in the ending note where chen was in low voice. One vocal analyst said that Chen has really good ears for sound. When he watched an old video where he could tell if other members hit C6 note or not. And it was when they were rookies. That is the reason he could tell that Hweseung is supporting him in harmony. So his low and high notes were efficient. That is what i have observed good singers have good hearing sense too. And he was removing his earpiece to listen to Hweseung too. Looking forward for more Exo and solo works. Please do checkout Suho at its live. I hope you will keep supporting these underrated Gems.

Actually, in the ending part, Hweseung was making the higher harmonie. But let’s remind that hitting the highest notes doesn’t make you a great singer or is the main highlight. Is the way you approach notes, your technique, your breathing support, the tools you use etc. Both amazing singers that know their voices very well. ❤

About this cover,my first my thought was Chen's voice is very high (idk how to express) and love Hweseung tone at the first verse but then when the high notes come i feel Chen really shines a lot and his low note harmonizing is just perfect and Hweseung is good too but his high note feels a lil bit forced (maybe because Chen sings so effortlessly that it is set in my brain the normal way when it's not😭). And the thing you say with Baekhyun and Hweseung being similar , idk if it's because Baek's my bias but i just can't hear it even with the reference video you add😭 Chen's range is definitely higher but Baekhyun's highnote doesn't feel that yk heavy or forceful(idk the right term to express this sorry). With everything said, i really enjoy this cover and your reaction too.
