Kitsch can easily be recreated. Clap Your Hands have cultural significance in Kpop. The fact that that there is no one yet to cover this song ( not even boy groups ) says how hard it is to perform this live due to its structure.

They are also the only Kpop gg at the time with three rappers in the group. Also, Clap Your Hands being the least liked single amongst the triple title track doesn't mean Kitsch is better.

It seems to me that one of the unique aspects of 2NE1 is that they do multiple genre and all of them well. They do pop, club, rock, reggae, ballads, unique songs like "Come Back Home." Other groups often do very well but most of their songs are all similar. Less diversity.

*Early* 2NE1 intentionally used autotune as a stylistic choice, reflecting the trends of that time. This wasn't to mask any vocal shortcomings, which is more common in today's K-pop scene. As they evolved, 2NE1 showcased unmatched vocal skills in their songs and especially in their live performances. Their ability to deliver strong vocals, even with a less complex choreography, set them apart back then *and* still does to this today. They didn't have autotune in their later work, or on their mics, neither did they use heavy backing tracks, often they had little to none! Their primary focus was on engaging the crowd, building a connection through their vocal prowess, and creating an energetic atmosphere. The reality is, almost everyone uses autotune, but for some reason people critisize and mock the era in which it was used artisticly. Not saying I'm a fan of it, but why hold the groups in that box?? It's not fair.
