At around 16:40 Theodora should've gained a heart because of the blanket's ability.

Question: when playing with 4 Stuffies it meant 3 Crawlies on the 2nd carriage. There is a green line to get over and the line of crawlies meant couldn’t move onto it as you can’t pass through their space. The green line means that a melee attack from the adjacent space prior is also out of the question. So, does this mean they can ONLY been taken out with a ranged attack? And what happens if you don’t have a ranged weapon/Flops jump ability to circumvent it? (It’s felt like a bit of a glitch and having to wait for minion turn to make the crawlies move before we could proceed. Or waste a heart of Flops to try to take one out before progressing) Advice?
@WatchItPlayed6 жыл бұрын
Sounds like you have everything right in your example. You'd need either a ranged attack to clear a space, Flops to use the jump ability, or to wait for the minions to come to you.

2:32 As the Dark Heart flew off the train, it flopped along the tracks and smacked into a plank of wood with a loud thud, stopping it. As it stood up to gather it's bearings, the Dark Heart heard something, something like a clicker-clack, clicker-clack. It turned, and it's blank eyes went wide as the train sped at it. The last thing that ran through the Dark Heart's dark, evil mind was, "Oh no," as the train plowed into it, and a storm of fluff rained over Flops and Theodora. Though the stuffies grabbed at it, the train was too fast, and the fluff flew off somewhere. Off on an unsuspecting raft, a small pig was very surprised to find he was sporting an ill-fitting white afro.

At 16:00 you defended all the damage from the boss. Aren't you able to keep the reserved dice in that case? Great video tho

@12:20 -ish. When Pep blocked all damage with his die, wasn’t he allowed to keep that die because he successfully blocked all damage?

Good question! It's been a little while since I shot this, and I lent my copy of the game to a friend, so I don't have an easy way of double checking that rule right now.

2:31 In the book says that the condition to defeat the dark heart is if the stuffed is in the dark heart's cart... so, it was legal this attack?
@WatchItPlayed3 жыл бұрын
Sorry, I shot this long enough ago, and don't have the book handy to be able to double check that.

Hey Taylor, you might find it helpful to check out our tutorial video that fully teaches the game. I've linked it here, at the moment where we discuss the rules for movement, which should help address your questions. Hope it helps! kzbin.info/www/bejne/rKisp4Scqqiifasm34s

I thought the blanket gave +2 to the results of each red die rolled?
@peterkorinek98817 жыл бұрын
Robots and Monsters i may be wrong, but it only gives bonus to red skill tests. Defending or doing a melee attack is not a skill test
@reinreed7 жыл бұрын
It is only to red skill tests (8:40), although I'm not sure if an attack counts as a skill test or not
@WatchItPlayed7 жыл бұрын
As others have said, that's for red skill tests, so the attacks don't qualify.

Mr Wizzykin That doesn't mean it's adult. It just means you don't remember the kinds of seemingly scary things you loved as a kid.
@Keithustus6 жыл бұрын
Mr Wizzykin Curious when you were a kid, but for us 80s kids it was almost impossible not to watch Ghostbusters, Star Wars original trilogy, Willow, Poltergeist, Dark Crystal / Labyrinth, The Lost Boys, Gremlins, Fantasia, The Neverending Story, etc. many, many times each before reaching full teenhood, as well as whatever grotesque and dangerous creatures and powers and things happened on all the Saturday morning and weekday afternoon cartoons. Looking further back, Grimm’s Fairy Tales, Aesop’s Fables, Scheherezade’s 1001 Tales of Arabian Nights (various title translations), and classical mythology all feature lots of monsters and other fantastical things that scared or stole or ate children or people. I think it’s just easy to look back on childhood and forget just how much fictional violence and horror kids experience, even if just from watching Disney cartoons. It’s only been in the last decade or two that kids movies have been becoming so sanitized of so much of this, and you’ve got to wonder if it’s healthy for their development to do so. I trust there MUST be some examples of popular kids media from the 50s-90s of eating gross stuff as necessary or beneficial even if I can’t recall any now. Part of the fun of Stuffed Fables is that it takes the idea of blood transfusions or organ donation, which thankfully few kids will know about, and makes it applicable and relevant in a context they know: their plush toys.
