Nice one, Death Angel is a really good card game based in this same universe. Really has that deadly feeling of fighting on the Space Hulk and is completely portable so you don't have to lug around the box. It has a number of expansions as well now bringing in more enemies and other marines, even some from the Deathwing Dark Angels force.

Excellent video. Clear, concise and very understandable. Over the last few days my self and two friends have been playing Space Hulk and have for the most part got to the grips with it. Watching this video has clarified a few issues we were having but were not totally sure of/misread/got wrong/forgot at the time. Wow... I have never been a big table top gamer, but Space Hulk is one of the few games of that sort that interests me. Seems to me that Warhammer 40K would be too much to wrap my mind around, but this, this is interesting. I love Space Marines, and the action shooting sequence was grand, creative and cool. Hey Rodney. I just got a copy of Space Hulk 4th Ed and so I'm back here to re-watch your videos. I've heard there are tweaks between 3rd and 4th editions. I read the 4th manual and I'm curious to see if I can spot the tweaks. It took me 3 evenings of cutting, filing and glueing to get all those awesome models together. Now I have to get my paints ready....this is going to take some time...

And the fire coming from the guns in the intro is amazing! It sounds like there are way more aliens than space marines... In addition, the time to take actions is limited... Played my first two matches now. Few questions arose: 1: Does genestealer player need to asign the starting blips before the marine player takes the first turn? 2: Does genestealer player get a "free of overwatch fire" movement after gun jam removal with CP. Fe. GS moves, Marine on overwatch fires and jams. Then Marine player unjams. Does the unjamming take place during the next movement action of the GS player or before. In this case the question is: is the next move action free of enemy fire because of the unjamming action? Sandglass makes a real difference in tactics :) After watching the whole watch it played, I thought I would get some advantage, but heck no. Died on 3rd and 4th rounds... Do Eclipse as a play through. Though it needs atleast four players to unlock diplomacy/alliances. Great videos, cheers!

I got pulled into the world of 40K by the 1st Edition back in the early 90s. I just finished painting all of the models in my copy of 4th Edition and have mission 5 set up on my game table....

Hello, this is Mario from Germany. How is it going? :-) Thank you very much for this great channel! I recently bought the 2014 Edition of Space Hulk. I never played it before (i play Warhammer though) but was always fascinated but the gameplay and the optic. Also the fact that you only have to paint 30 Models instead of 36358623082 like for an Warhammer Army might have attracted me a little bit too:-) However, i bought the Game from a Friend (he is also German). It was still sealed and honestly, i did no research on it and nothing so when i got back home i saw that it's in English. Not that i can't read, write or understand it but it takes a lot of the fun. I googled it and saw that the first limited Edition from 2009 also was released in German Language. But to come to the Point. With your great Videos i don't even have to read a lot in the Rulebook cause you explained it even better. So we ordered Pizza before we started playing and eat while we watched your Videos and then jumped directly in the Game instead of reading for 5 Hours. Thanks a lot and rock on! ;-)

FYI - copies of Space Hulk can easily be had for under $200 - just watch eBay and BGG marketplace and have patience. I've seen unopened copies sell recently for $170 shipped. A lot of money for most, but not bad if you're a big fan of this game and the quality components.

What a terrific video. Mrs Badger and I recently instituted a weekly board game night. So far we just have three games. "Pandemic", "Escape, The Curse of the Temple", and tonight it is the turn of "Space Hulk". I'm trying to select games which are cooperative and as this one isn't, I'm not sure how well it'll appeal to she who must be obeyed. Plus, on checking to remind myself of the rules, I'm not entirely confident with my ability to explain them in as clear and concise a manner as you have. (I could inadvertently massacre these Marines before a shot is ever fired if I'm not careful.) So you know what? I'm going to fire up your vid again this evening so we can watch it together before we try to play. Shiny. :) I probably won't show the second one as well or we'll be spending the whole evening in front of the tv (which is kind of what I'm trying to avoid) instead of playing. But I'm going to watch it now anyway for extra credit. :) All the best Badger

Do the movements of the marines CAN INTERVALE without control points ?; ie, the Marines have 4 action points, you can move a marine 2AP, then a second three one third, etc, and moved back to the first two action points remaining. Sorry for my bad english.
