Thank you, Jack and Shawn. Merry Christmas to you and your families.

They looked unprepared or distracted. Considering this and the Gonzaga game, I would do a lot more zone.

Matchups are everything. We didn't match up well with Ohio State. Their guards were better. There is no backup for Butler until Kerr gets back. We'll have to figure that out. Also They were more hungry because they had been smacked earlier this season. I had to add that we don't have any rim protection either.

I mean we have beaten the best two teams on the schedule so far hopefully it was just our team looking ahead for Christmas or something

If Amari could shoot, that changes our offense DRASTICALLY. zoom action requires the center/hand off/screen setter to offer a threat of making shots.

A lot of one on two or three, and no passing!

Kentucky has a high floor but a low ceiling. They won't win on talent alone, like Cal's teams did sometimes. They must be locked in together. They played too much hero ball in the 2nd half. That's why they lost by 20.

Y’alls takes are spot on. In my mind, we’ve shown flashes of what we can be when we play well. Duke and Gonzaga are evidence of this (you all spoke well to some of the warning signs even in these games). I think our early wins signaled that we can play with the best, while these losses have shown the work we have left to do. I’m confident this OSU loss will remain a Q1. It was on a neutral floor, after all. And despite their big losses, OSU is a very talented team. You can’t underestimate these guys. OSU is the reverse of Kentucky. We’ve shown what we can do early in non-con, while OSU hadn’t delivered against a quality opponent up to this point. They were desperate to prove themselves and they did. They are loaded with talent and caught us asleep at the wheel right before Christmas. Credit to them. Go cats!

What's with the bigs starting their posting up backdown high in the lane and spending so much time dribbling to the basket? This is causing the offence that used to run fast, pass fast, shoot fast and keep defenses confused to be as stale as three week old bread. All the dribbling by the bigs leaves four great shooters standing around the perimeter getting cold and out of rhythm. This has been in the play book for the past four or five games. Because the bigs are attempting to create some offence the fast quick passing has dried up, the shooters are not taking open threes, the back cuts have stopped, the allyoops have stopped, the pass outs from the post have stopped. Hmmmmmm are we seeing a very bad pattern starting, kinda reminds me of Cal's Big O offence, throw it to the post at all costs. Oh well, the team has experts, we'll see if they also see this on film. GO BLUE!

Ohio state's defense put them in a rut and they didn't know how to run their offense they took bad shots and they did not move the ball

We got jobbed by the refs against Clemson. We were awful against OSU. You can tell if we are going to be in trouble early on by the play of two players. Carr and Robinson. Those two were both timid. When Carr is aggressive and looking for his shot, we play MUC better. He's one of our only inside threats. When he's aggressive, it opens up everything. Robinson can be lazy. Half hearted efforts for loose balls, not looking for his shot, etc. When those two players play aggressively, this is a MUCH different team.

It's the ENERGY the EFFORT it's having that FIGHT in them having the will too WIN that DOG too do whatever it takes too win is what's concerning because bro I've played sports and defense is 95% effort 5% technique you don't have too be the most athletic player on the floor too be a damn good defender or give a 💯 that's the BS about the OSU game

When you lose to Clemson and get the breaks beat off you by Ohio state. It doesn’t matter if you beat Duke and Gonzaga, fact is the 1st 5 games this teams offense looked incredible, we was swinging the ball around, hitting 3s, looked amazing. But since after the Duke game we’ve became a horrible 3 pt shooting team because teams figured us out, we will lose 13+ games this year, I say we finish 18-13. No tournament, we just don’t have very many pieces, we’re not the shooting team we was told, jrob isnt the star we was told we was going to be, and pope will be gone after 2 season. An absolute shit show

Whatever happened to “love having kids that want to play for us.” ??? Oh I get it, when things get hard you pull a Cal and run the other way!
