As part of the Building Global Leaders, International Environmental Series and in collaboration with the Center for the Advancement of Language and Culture Studies in the World Languages department, Consul General Burger will be discussing the topic of Climate Change and what Germany, and the European Union are doing to mitigate the effects of climate change in the region. In addition, he will be analyzing the transitioning of Germany to decarbonize energy supply by switching to renewable sources by leaving nuclear and fossil energy behind.
