The real boss is the piano on emulator on gamepad. I fucking hate it: you slightly move your stick and this blue point fly away in another Universe. Jesus i even hit the correct key, yet the key is lit in a red colour. This really ruins the final. Upd: lol, just finished it. Took me about 38 attempts, easier than expected.

I was thinking how much I loved that song, too. You can year bits of the Tsukimori Song in it, which to me goes along with what was said earlier about people with the disease/who are blooming having had their melody distorted. Beautiful, sad, and scary all at once.

This was an awesome playthrough. Watching it made me wish we had gotten it in the states. It was greatly appreciated that you slowed down the scrolling of the notes because I was able to pause and read them. The FF lore is quite fun for me to read and the story for this one was very interesting.

That "piano" at 2:53 is actually a theater organ notice the "horseshoe" shape of the console, the three keyboards or "manuals", the stop tabs, pistons, pedal board and swell shoes.

For anyone who might not know it i just wanna point out that misaki didn’t die When she fought sakuya sakuya knew who misaki was and that she was her only friend so thats why she didn’t take her life she only kinda put her to sleep or drugged her or some sort and you can see at the ending credits madoka comes to misaki to wake her up just to say goodbye and leave her which is so fucking sad 😢

I always amazed by fatal frame story, well i never scared when i played this game just got shocked when ghost appear, but the reason why i love fatal frame is the story always make me want to see it more and more. All ghosts have their own story and they all interesting for me. Maybe they should make anime or film from this game.

They ARE making a Fatal Frame movie. You should be able to find a subbed trailer for it here on KZbin. It should be released (in Japan) either the end of this year or beginning of next, I don't remember which. There's an official manga as well. Both the movie and the new manga (unlike the movie, the manga is being simultaneously released digitally in Japanese and English) have original stories rather than retelling any of the games.

I finished the game today!! :D About an hour ago, just defeated Sakuya and got all the unlockables with the bazillion points I'd gathered. Your guide was so helpful and I couldn't have gotten that far without it! I just have one question; I've taken some amazing photos and saved them on albums. Is there any way I can get those photo files, export it to be read on a laptop, or something like that? I keep looking and I have no idea, there's very little info how.

Fatal Frame 4 has the creepiest atmosphere out of all the series, to me. It has the creepiest atmosphere of any horror game I've seen/played. They nailed it. Still not the biggest fan of the 3rd person camera, though. I miss the fixed camera. There is so much spookie fun to be had that way. Oh well, still a great game and an excellent playthrough; quality all the way!

Yes 1st time in nightmare mode. As I have said on my previous comment I played this as close as a blind play. Actually I can finish this with S rank in less than or almost 3hrs.

Yes I'm glad that Misaki is alive. I like her because she is cute (And also when she was a child!). I wonder what happened after she met Sakuya. Sakuya's smile seems evil at that moment lol. I feel sad for Madoka though, she has the camera but still got busted by the ghosts. I can’t wait for the remake of Fatal Frame 2. This is my first time playing fatal frame and I’m happy that I still have something to wait for.

Excellent walk through--just like watching a movie. Fan theory-Do you think the reason the islanders are affected is because of the red and blue crystals growing all over the place? Crystals naturally resonate, and these particular ones have supernatural properties regarding the dead, as well as the 'moon' (as shown by their use in powering the camera obscura, and the flashlight). Could exposure to their resonating be what disrupts the islander's 'song'/spirits, causing them to bud and then bloom?

Remake will use the engine of fatal frame 4 which makes it a lot better. If it doesn't release on states then I'll just wait for the community english patch just like this fatal frame 4 hehe. Well see about fatal frame 1 and 3, I'm currently playing Silent Hill: Downpour and planning to record it :)

Are you using a real wiimote? If not can you please share your settings for how you set the buttons for the piano part? I'm using a controller but have to switch to mouse when doing the piano. It's hard both ways. And the bigger problem is that the pointer always bounce back to the center/middle. If you were able to sort this will be great to know how. Thanks in advance.

+fail_lip SPOILERS**** Sakuya is... Yuu's sister and.. Wife through arranged marriage of their father. Sakuya seems to have a very distant relationship with him but is more rooted in the concern for her daughter, Ayako. Since she could not be with Ayako all the time, she became mothering and nurturing to Misaki, who visited her all the time.

I am not a gamer but enjoy watching others playing games such as this; also, thank you for no talking , some like to talk and it is like someone talking during movie. I like it with Japanese dialogue. Do those spirits get killed with certain lens and at certain moment (when they attack you, etc)? What is the significance taking photos of those dolls beside getting scores? You only get certain things or scenes when you capture certain numbers of dolls' photos? Do you have the maxiumu number of crystals already before all these game plays, how come everytime you grab them, the system says you have enough of those?

You're welcome. I'm glad you like it :) Certain lenses will boost your damage or inflict a special status. Completing the hozuki dolls will unlock costumes and lenses. Yes, I already have the max amount. Items are carried over to your next playthrough after loading the completed save file.

my guess us, mr policeman died 2 years after the tragíc event and his spirit was awoken by Ruka mother to protect her, the 2 girl died made me sadm she should have listen to the writings, i guess she bloomed after reunited with Miya(doll)

Maybe Sakuya passed Misaki the curse ritual and take her life as a sacifice to be alive from suffering all those days/years... Then, Choushiro helps Ruka put on the mask Lunar eclipse to stop all who have been suffering, puts to a end. Not sure... I made it up. Goodbye Madoka. Thanks for the entertainment! I enjoyed it!
