I mean the beam looks so similar to the Bifrost beam in Thor (which was first!!) that it was obvious he was transported not vaporized. I think that, for Odin, it was never anything but a competition between the two for the throne. We didn't know it for a while but I think that the history with his daughter meant that he would never allow himself to be close to either of his sons. I think he was lucky that only one of the boys grew up to be a psychopathic mass murderer.

Isn't Iron Lad the son of Kang the Conqueror? EDIT: Just looked it up. Iron Lad is a time-displaced adolescent version of Kang, who is coming up in Quantumania. I guess the MCU could shoehorn the connection in, saying that Kang impersonated Harley or took his place, but we've already seen "Harley" as a kid. That might be quite the leap to expect fans to make. Of course, the MCU could just drop the concept of Kang-as-Iron Lad (although it is an important part of his backstory) and just push Harley into that spot.

This is why I love the MCU; they plan ahead and pay attention to the smallest of details. However they messed up somewhere: they state that Spider-Man: Homecoming takes place eight years after the events of The Avengers, which took place in 2012 so 8 years later would be in 2020, one year after Thanos used the Infinity Stones.

as a fan of Norse mythology since before any Marvel movies, i caught the ravens (Hugin and Munin). did not catch Wakanda in IronM2. did not catch "first born son" indicating Hela, though i knew of her from mythology (daughter of loki, as was serpent and Fenrir). one small amusement/beef with Endgame was Thor and Cap taking about Mjolnir, and Thor saying it was so well-balanced. in fact the "real" Mjolnir of myth had the defect of a shortened handle. Loki jealous of the presents to the Asgardians from the dwarves turned into a stinging insect to distract the smith when it was being made... but the war hammer was still effective, especially in Thor's hands...

You missed a terrific one; and one of my absolute favorites. In The Avengers: Infinity War, Dr. Strange offers to surrender the Time Stone to Thanos to save the life of Tony Stark. After Thanos claims his prize and departs via the magic of the stones powered by his now almost completed Gauntlet, Stark looks to the magician and plaintively asks “why would you do that”? Dr. Strange replies, “Were’ in the End Game now”. At the time, none of us knew that was the title of the Avenger’s sequel. Or the multiverse shattering significance of Dr. Strange willfully choosing to lose; as he was the only one who knew it was literally the only way to later win.

Nice that they have things planned out so far ahead, so apparently they have been setting up for Dr. Strange 2 and Wandavision (what their stories will revolve around) way before Spider Far From Home like we had been clued in on (not as subtlety). And pretty sure it had less to do with his feelings for Cho, almost more than likely, when the clone saw her, recognized information about her he got from the internet. Especially since he had no problem attacking her once Wanda freed her. Now when it came to Wanda, it was a little more obvious before he died. But that made more sense, since he and Vision had a connection. And Vision also fell in love with her. And the Agatha scenes, not sure should be on this list, since they had made it OBVIOUS enough that she was behind everything before she actually revealed herself. And also if a comic book fan (sure she isn't evil there), but still shouldn't have been surprised/shocked when happened, due to already knowing what to expect. And since Agatha was responsible for some of the things. And Wanda (unintentionally) the rest, if notice every time reality tried to interfere with her fantasy, things like the drone's colors being revealed were more likely Wanda's mind trying to heal and accept that things could carry on like that (some part accepting it wasn't real) before her denial would kick in again. Thought that wanting to gain his trust was one of his goals. And even if Peter weren't Spiderman or maybe especially due to the spider sense and being able to pick up on certain things. A stranger walks up to him (or anybody) and suddenly expected to trust them to that degree. No, don't think so. And if Quentin wanted to accomplish this goal he needed Peter to trust him completely first.

"In the final battle, Thanos breaks Captain America's shield in half, fulfilling the prophecy in Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015). Georges Batroc, the French MMA mercenary first shows up in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and now he's on The Falcon & the Winter Soldier - pretty cool, right? *Except*...he has a very, very tiny part in Age of Ultron! Wanda Maximoff's hex-induced hallucination on Black Widow shows her remembering her time at the Red Room, the Russian assassin school. As she steps off the stairs and walks into the ballet room, the camera switches to in front of her, and through the misty glass window, there's Batroc! What's really interesting about that is back in Capt. America: Winter Soldier, when the team is being briefed on the plane about the hijackers and their leader, when Batroc's name is mentioned while they're told no one knows who hired him, Widow's thumb shifts a little from her lip down her chin while her expression subtly changes. In WandaVision, on episode 7's opening credits there's a really quick shot of cut-out magazine/newspaper letters pasted together saying something like "I know what you're up to Wanda" - I had to do *a lot* of pause-rewind-pause-curse-*extremely* careful mouse manipulation-pause-curse profusely-rewind-pause before I managed to get a relatively good look at the message. At first I thought it was Vision who was finally figuring out what Wanda was doing, but I was targeting the wrong character and motive, obviously.

While Mysterio wasn't lying about the Multiverse, he did get the dimension that the MCU takes place in wrong. The MCU isn't Earth-616 because that's the Main Marvel Universe, where as the MCU is Earth-199999. Mysterio saying 616 is just an easter egg for comic fans.

In the comics, the android Torch either was rebuilt as or provided the template for the creation of Vision.
