Not necessarily. A common theory is Krab is Pearl’s sugar daddy. She really only interacts with him without him interacting with her first to ask him for money. In the show they say she’s 16 but only because it would be weird for her to be a sugar baby in the typical sense of the term (money for the woman in exchange for “romantic” favors). Her 16th birthday episode is classic sugar baby behavior. She even sings a song about everything she wants Mr. Krabs to buy her. He eventually gets her everything she wants but only because he gave Spongebob his credit card. The only other time he spends money like this is when he’s dating Mrs. Puff. He’s so infatuated with her he can’t see straight and demands Spongebob spend every last cent he has on Mrs. Puff. That’s a one off though. You don’t see Mr. Krabs on a real date again because he technically has Pearl.

What I want to know is if you look at the movie as just non-canon SpongeBob fun, or even an (un)intentional series reboot on NICK and/or Paramount and/or Viacom’s parts along with Kamp Koral coming soon to Nickelodeon, is “Sponge On The Rub” an alright movie to watch overall? So, here’s a fun fact about Pearl that makes sense and also challenges why Plankton would be afraid of her in the first place. Pearl is a SpermWhale. SpermWhales don’t eat Plankton, that’s why they can be around each other without causing intense anxiety for the smaller of the two. Why he suddenly did have anxiety for seemingly no reason is still up to question.

Shouldn't items float down instead of fall splat on the ground like on land? - How are SpongeBob and Patrick able to breathe on land in the first movie, when in the show they can't breathe without water, even in Sandy's dome? - How old are SpongeBob and Patrick?
