Ivan Milat. I cannot believe you left one of Australia's most terrifying serial killers off your list. He wasn't known as the Back-packer killer for nothing. His reign of terror prompted authorities to send a message out for Backpackers to be careful and vigilant on the Hume Highway. Speaking of Australians, how about Christopher Wilder, the "Snapshot Killer", not only was he known to kill women in America, it is coming to light that he may have killed in Australia as well.

After spending 5 days going through David Parker Ray’s “Toy Box” and having witnessing the disturbing and vile acts he recorded himself doing on others, Agent Patty Rust went home and ended her own life. The disturbing things she had to see, document, and investigate was too much for her. That should give everyone an inkling of how horribly the victims were tortured.

I was asking my husband out of all the serial killers you know, who is the worse? When he learned about Albert Fish, he said him. I then told him he was my number one, then the toy box killer.
@Move_I_Got_This-b3v14 күн бұрын
@@runningrosa The toy box never produced any bodies. He confessed, but I've never seen any evidence to support his claims. The two known victims didn't die. One escaped, the other didn't even remember what happened until the police talked to her. I saw one documentary on it about 14 years ago, so their must be more information that wasn't in the documentary.
@runningrosa14 күн бұрын
@@Move_I_Got_This-b3v That is true. But to me it’s not the lack of evidence when it comes to bodies…it’s just the apparatus he used is what bothers me and puts him at number 2. Did you hear about the recordings they played during his trial? I heard it was so gruesome and that people had to walk out.
@Move_I_Got_This-b3v14 күн бұрын
@@runningrosa For someone so high on the list, there is almost no info on his victims. The amnesia drugs he used suggests to me that his goal was to keep them alive and let them go. I suspect he was using a lot of prostitutes and paying them. Almost no names with a count that high just doesn't make sense. I'm going from memory of the Documentary.

@caitrionaryan366214 күн бұрын
I don’t remember the full details but I believe Bolivia’s maximum sentence was 22 years so his sentence was in violation of that. They reformed the sentencing laws afterwards but because the laws couldn’t be retroactive they didn’t affect his newly-reduced sentence. Similar situation to that mass murderer in Norway from about a decade ago, wherein I think he’ll be eligible for parole pretty soon. Unfortunately it’s a product of the justice systems never having encountered violence on that scale so they had never had a cause to extend the sentencing laws, but it’s pretty cruel

I'm also Canadian, and I've seen this sentiment echoed dozens of times on KZbin. Almost all of us think she's just as responsible as he is, if not more. Before he met her, he was "just" a r*pist; but after he met her, he became a serial k*ller with her help. She even helped him r*pe and accidentally k*ll her younger sister Tammi (stole the medication that he used to drug her into unconsciousness from the vet clinic that she worked at (halothane), and then she choked on her own vomit while he was r*ping her on tape, and she died). Karla helped cover it up. Even after that incident, she would go with him while he went scouting for new victims to make them feel more at ease with being in his presence; and he k*lled and r*ped a couple more teenage girls with her help. Karla only turned on him when he started targeting HER. After she was released from prison, she had to assume a new identity and move to a new province just to get away from this mess. But then locals found out who she was and started threatening her, so she had to change her name and move again. Nobody knows where she is now - the last time I checked, she was in Joliet (Québec).

@Skygrey294314 күн бұрын
Yeah, I've fallen down that rabbit hole. There's a connection to Gacy. There is also a connection to the Oakland serial killer that wasn't found who liked to launder the kids' clothes, if I remember correctly. I think that was then connected to Fox Island, which was an Epstein like getaway for sickos in the 70s/80s. If you're interested in disturbing rabbit holes like the above, there is the Detroux affair that occurred in Belgium. It was a pdf ring that went to the highest office in the country, and lots of witnesses ended up dead.

I want to be a criminal profiler i studied Aileen Wuornos and she did show sympathy for her victims at times, she confessed to police (that's on tape) that she killed the men to rob them. She said her guilty conscious was too much, she backtracked on this confession though, but she still showed some sympathy. And one sad thing mentioned in your video. Aileen was betrayed by everyone close to her, her entire life. Her mom gave her up, she lived with her grandparents, her grandad tortured her, her brother ra8ped her, her girlfriend set her up and then testified against her. I have great sympathy for Aileen.

Bob Berdella - Randy Kraft - Dean Corll - Bittaker & Norris - David Parker Ray - John Bunting.....the torture killers are on a COMPLETELY different level than their "more straightforward" counterpart killers. Their desire to experience victims' suffering is absolutely inhuman & otherworldly. They are MUCH MUCH MUCH more savage & brutal & horrifying than Ramirez/Bundy/Dahmer/Sutcliffe/Kemper etc....and that's saying a lot. It's difficult to single out "The Worst" of them, but the details of the crimes of Randy Kraft, in particular, are EXTREMELY horrifying & revolting & stomach-churning. It truly boggles the mind. After 40+ years of true crime study, I'm losing the ability to stomach this kind of thing and my interest in true crime is coming to an end. That's probably a good thing, eh?

One serial killer is bad. A pair working together is even worse. But how about fifty? During World War I, there was a POW camp near the Hungarian village of Nagyrev, and the women of the village, many of whose husbands were away fighting in the war, began having affairs with the prisoners there. When their husbands returned home, however, the women decided to kill their spouses. The village midwife and doctor, Julius Fazekas, and her friend Susanna Olah, began selling arsenic to the other women, who began calling themselves the "Angel Makers of Nagyrev." Around fifty women are believed to have participated in the killings, which lasted from 1914 to 1929. 38 women were arrested and 26 were tried. Eight were sentenced to death, seven were sentenced to life in prison, and the others to shorter jail terms. The ringleader, Julius Fazekas, committed suicide before she could be arrested. In all, it's believed around 300 people, including children and other relatives as well as husbands, were killed by the "Angel Makers."

Technically, they're not serial killers: It's likely that others were killed FOR them, but by their own hands, only one man's life was ended by each.

Hold up now. They said that the Son of Sam was a cult. And more than one person had committed those crimes. Because I remember that they were talking about it on Unsolved Mysteries

Disagree with his list. What are you doing? Harold Shipman should be the most top spot. It's not the smaller body count he had, but his stance as a professional and his high intelligence that made him so deadly. Pedro was an impulse killer that was so successful, since he was in 3rd world country after all, meaning that society in there is too undeveloped to deal with in the right time. If someone like him would be killing in developed nation, he would be locked up in a matter of his spree short time.
