User Chuck_E_Sleeze on Reddit, in response to a question: "...he had this sense of entitlement but Ramsey isn't easy to work for, so i guess he was due that a little. But he couldn't hack it in New Jersey at The Borgata because it isn't everything it seems. He didn't get his own place, or was he even the executive chef. When your "dish" tarnishes Gordon Ramsey's taste buds, and he passes it on to others to taste just to show how bad it is, you done fucked up.

Sorry to break some peoples dreams, but: 1. The producers managed to add drama, for example ingredients were exchanged, in order to serve Ramsay just ... messed up food. 2. Some winners didn't even get their promised Jobs, but they did actually win a huge amount of money. 3. In some seasons, the contestants could win the title "Head Chef", which in the real world has almost no meaning.. only Executive Chef or Sous Chef are actual titles. 4. The resturant you see, isn't a real resturant, the guests know very well, that they might not get any food at all, they are just there for payment or to have a chance to see themselves in TV or to even get... a free meal. Which was not certain, I must repeat. 5. Many contestants were chosen because of their character, that´s it. In order to add drama, they chose short tempered people. 6. Most sources confrim, that there were no scripts. But as I mentioned before, the producers did try to create situations, in which Ramsay could just go wild and rant at people. 7. In addition, Drama was created by not letting the contestants have free time or huge amounts of food to cook for themselves. Many sources point out, that this is the reason why you see contestants fight for free meals or just free time in the show very hard and why they always seem very very happy about free meals. 8. The Editing is HUGE in this show. The really tried to compensate for not having actual scripts. Many contestants confrimed, that the actual experience doesn't have much to do, with what you see on TV. In some episodes you can even see contestants in scenes, after they had already been kicked out. So much for editing ^^

"Antonia's career in Hell's Kitchen was one of the shortest of all time, and this is a reason why." Actually, that's not true. Antonia had a migraine and collapsed and was sent to the hospital before the first service even began.

That wrapped halibut is indeed a popular and very liked indian dish. In India it's called " karimeen polichathu"It's from Kerala which is a state in the South India. Gordon saying it's not and he has been to India shows his utter arrogance. She was right whether he liked it or not but saying I've been to India doesn't mean he had tried every indian dish.

Yes, evidently grilling caramelizes the sugars in the watermelon. Apparently it's supposed to be quite good when done correctly.

Grilled watermelon is actually a semi common vegetarian meal, once grilled it losses a lot of its original flavor and takes on a tougher texture, it becomes very similar to a steak in that sense

Pretty sure if I went on this show, I’d do something simple, like a pasta carbonara or something. The worst thing I could think to do is overcomplicate things to try and impress someone, which seems to be what all these dishes share in common. Sometimes, to impress, you just have to have some well-cooked food.

How to impress Gordon Ramsay in a good way: Make something that goes well together that you've made several times before. TASTE IT. Give it without attitude. And heaven forbid you use fresh, frozen, out of a can. Oh, that last one is from a different show. But still, only fresh stuff.
