There were so many despicable characters in OZ. There was one scene where Thomas Magnum sought revenge against Ivan. Did you see the the sunrise? BANG! Here are some sci-fi shows. You can't forget about Gul Dukat in DEEP SPACE NINE. Then there was Mr Morden in BABYLON-5. We all hated Alex Krychek and Cigarette Smoking Man in THE X-FILES. There were plenty of deaths we relished in ROME and SPARTACUS. How many hated characters were in JUSTIFIED, THE SHIELD, and in YELLOWSTONE?

The Governor is one of my all time favorite TWD villains! And I found his death to be fitting because since him and Michonne were mortal enemies since they first met, It makes sense that she'd be the one to cause his demise by running him through with her sword. I mean Lilly may have been the one who put him down after he got stabbed, But that was just to keep him from turning.

The Mentalist: Lets talk about Red John. Yikes. The issue here is that the show spent so long building Red John to true Boogeyman status, that when it was time to actually reveal him, they had painted themselves into a corner. Red John was supposed to be the dark side of Jane in many ways. A master manipulator, highly intelligent to rival Moriarty, and the only person that could stay one step ahead of Jane. Unless you have Sean Connery with Devil horns, wearing a 3 piece suit while solving the Anti-life equation, there was just no way to actually deliver on what they had built up for years. I loved the Mentalist, and I remember the death being far more underwhelming than satisfying. I was so incredibly disappointed that this "master criminal" that they had built up as the freaking devil incarnate was some Podunk Sherriff who was done in by a handful of bird seed and some Pigeons. The sentiment of disappointment was shared by many fans, and the showrunners admitted via news articles that they found themselves stuck when it came time to actually produce "Red John".

Game Of Thrones had so many. Ramsay, Roose, the Mountain (sorta), Tywin (should have been #2 on this list), Walder Frey, Viserys, Craster, Meryn Trant, Littlefinger, the slavers of Astapor, Septa Unella. But Joffrey was of course #1, I mean nobody was hated like that sadistic arrogant cowardly bastard (yup). Kudos to Jack Gleeson playing it to the hilt, I mean even to the point where afterwards he felt he hated hos own chatacter, and gave up acting rather than ever have to be associated Joffrey ever again.

I never watched Game of Thrones, however eventually my sister did. On one of her visits back home, she watched an episode or two of the show on the TV. I walked in and watched for about 5 minutes maybe less. This just so happened to be right in the episode, and moment of "Joffrey"? being what I've come to understand as his despicable self, subsequently being poisoned and dying. I'm sure a lot of people will claim heresy, but I was like "Well, that's all I needed to see of the show! This absolutely loathesome character (which I understood within just the short while of watching that part, kudos to the actor's portrayal) got deadified! I'm satisfied!"

There are characters that are awesome, lovable and downright hate-able
