We loved the colored ketchup! My son would eat better with it. Also, my grandfather had an Edsel. He took excellent care of it. He passed away in 2012, and it still had all original parts and paint job. Now my dad takes care of it and it only gets used for special occasions, like weddings. It will never leave our family. 😊

14:01 The ONLY problem with Clippy was that he was so difficult to get rid of. The idea was absolutely brilliant. The execution was absolutely horrendous. 14:05 Comic Sans is a beautiful typeface when taken as it is. The problem is it was the Nickelback of typography before Nickelback even became big. It was EVERYWHERE and EVERYONE was using it for everything they can think of. That proves it is a beautiful typeface. It just sucks when everyone overuses something so wonderful that it becomes a pain in the ass to even see.

Yeah it wasn't great, yeah it gave headaches, but when i was a kid, this was my very first 3D experience, and it was the coolest damn thing I had ever seen. Growing up and learning how it works, it's a miracle what they pulled off. Teleroboxer and Galactic Pinball, and Mario Tennis!

I was working for AT&T Mobility already for over 3 years when the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 came-out. Literally one week after launch date, my very first call of that particular morning was from a harried young woman who told me that her boyfriend's Samsung Galaxy Note 7 literally exploded. At first, I thought she was just another nutcase calling us, but I registered her complaint and, literally beginning an hour or two later, at least several of my colleagues got similar calls. By the next day, the story made the national news add 3/4s of our calls dealt with this very issue.. By the end of that week, lawsuits started being filed. Most people don't know this, but Samsung was actually close to shutting-down operations forever in North America because of it. Thankfully, they persevered because I sure as hell will never buy an iPhone.

Galqxy just jumped to the Note 8, and it was AMAZING. I LOVED mine. I had it forever. I only reason had to upgrade was because something fell on it and broke my screen 😞

Never had a problem with Vista on my quad Q6600 and 8gb of RAM, i think crappy low budget hardware and severe lack of RAM was more of the problem than the OS.

The Wii-U only failed because it felt more like it was an add-on then it's own console. Nintendo should've just made The Wii-U instead of The Wii to begin with. 🎮🤷🏿‍♂️

You are fully right, my other half liked it, tho it could be a fit fiddily to get it to cast to the tv. The battery was a little underwhelming and the signal wasn’t too great but nothing wrong with trying something new, tho they didn’t advertise it very well at all they dropped the ball on that but hey we got the switch after that so it’s all good

It lasted about 3 odd hours depending on brightness ect think my other half’s may have been faulty as she barley got 2 but she did like to have the brightness up, but for what it was she enjoyed it and it and Nintendo brought all the good features over to the switch….if only they lowerd the price of the games

I mean I was under the impression it was a massive failure but I remember seeing a car with cameras all over it and it had stopped somewhere so I took a closer look at it and I planned to upload my KZbin short about it at some point, even though I saw this month ago so thanks for reminding me with this number on your list but anyways I thought it was a Google car but then was very disappointed to see that it was an Apple maps car and even pointed out how even people who have iPhone use Google maps. #21 - 3D-TV...only 3D video I saw was a snake. And: Samsung only loosely glued the lenses so they easily fell off and caused kinda dark spots on the screen. I still have a 3D TV and two glasses...you can either carefully reglue the lenses or get complete LED stripes for cheap from AliExpress. Anyhow: planned obsolescence since Samsung could have tightly screwed in those lenses - then my old 3D TV would be as good as new (except for the Software...which doesn't matter if you only use KZbin and TV).

Theres so much that sparks a flame from people that have grown up from the 70s and 80s. Adults nowadays dont realize what happened during that later transition. Well guess roll with the punches.

New Coke was the most horrible thing I ever tasted. It was even worse that Pepsi. Thankfully, they brought regular Coke right back. The green Heinz ketchup didn't work in the UK, because we have green chilli sauce, pickled cucumber relish and mint sauce. They taste much better, on the right foods. No one wanted the purple one. The solution to low fat snacks turned out to be the industrial use of air fryers. I tried new Coke once...🤮, ended up drinking Cherry Coke and Barrs Cola, until the product was dumped.

For his first interactive album, he changed his name to TR-I, which stood for Todd Rundgren-Interactive. I saw this release in a Seattle record store where he was extolling the virtues of this new system. You could play them on your average desktop. I'd brought a couple of his albums with me to get autographed and instead of signing his name, he signed it TR-I which really pissed me off because those records were collectors items from the 60's. The album was kinda meh and I had the money at the time, but I was for damned-sure not paying $500

My cousin always struggled with weight during her childhood. While on our Daytona Florida trip in the 90s she had her dad buy her a bunch of WOW! Chips which she scarfed down enmass over one afternoon. It over loaded her 8 year old body and she got rushing, horrific death smelling, uncontrollable diarrhea in the car while we were on our way to dinner that night. It just kept coming and coming, i remember sitting in the waiting room of the hospital with her older sister with our shoes and socks stained with her poo. The problem with Windows Vista is that it didn't work on PCs made before 2006 due to Aero glass and transparency. Also, PC manufactures made PCs that barely met Vista's requirements causing them too run very slowly

One thing that gave Bluray a huge leg up on HDDVD was that it was included as part of the PS3 (much like DVD and the PS2), which makes sense since Sony was one of the 9 electronic companies that started Bluray - Toshiba was the primary on HDDVD, trying to take on the likes of Sony, Samsung, Sharp, Hitachi, LG, Thomson, Philips, Pioneer and Panasonic with their Bluray tech.

Beta didn't take off because you needed multiple cassettes to watch a movie. People didn't like having to get up and switch tapes to continue their movies. But you are correct beta was way better than VHS. Its like comparing a vinyl record to a CD, yes that big of a difference. Most movies were 3-4 cassettes. If they had just made the tapes bigger so it was all on one instead of multiple everyone would have owned a beta instead of a VHS.

New Coke was made because in taste tests, people preferred the taste of diet coke to regular coke, so they made their regular coke taste more like diet. And in taste tests, most people preferred new coke to old coke. So they literally failed because they made a product that more people should have found enjoyable.

1:36 So back then Netflix wasn't even doing streaming They were just doing DVD deliveries and were the biggest at it. Blockbuster joining in on that fight actually seem like a really good thing and I like the ads because they brought how you can order DVDs and have them delivered but yeah you could always just go back to the store and get another one instead of just having to always wait for the next one to be delivered. That was like the best of both worlds but it was too little too late. Like you said they were playing catch up with Netflix. Oh well. Even though we definitely had Blockbuster video in our area my family always chose Hollywood video its competitor anyways. Now there's just the one blockbuster video left in bend Oregon and I have seen a video store up in eureka called spotlight video which has literally the same signage and same logo as Hollywood video except the logo is painted blue instead of black.

You know your product is a failure when it resembles a Roman military weapon (the plumbata). And I don't think the Romans were planning to use these lawn-dart lookalikes for just playing a horseshoe-game variation when they were pretty much successfully campaigning to dominate pretty much the entire area around the Mediterranean Sea! These things had barbs as well. That's why they also called them "martiobarbuli", or "little barbs of Mars" (referring to the god, not the planet).
