the Looney Tunes have always been the edgy cartoons, even back in their golden years. it was not just meant for children, but for adults as well. As was stated by Leon Schlessinger and the Warner Brothers back in the day "we're not Mickey Mouse. and we never will be."

It's funny, if you watch the very early Daffy cartoons, he was more of a "good guy" character -- a jerk, but he's the funny protagonist jerk who always wins, like Bugs. But then Bugs comes along and takes that role, and then Daffy transitions to the more villainous role who always loses... usually to Bugs himself.

Personally, I'd say when he blamed the Cadet for sabotaging peace talks between Earth and Mars in Duck Dodgers 2003 series. The OG 'Cartman'. My favourite animated character. The true definition of timeless. I remember anepisode where he gets into porky's (i think) house because it's freezing and snowing outside. He manages to lock porky outside, who then looks in through the window with big eyes, longingly, as daphy tucks in to his delicious food porky previously prepared. He looks at porky (whos nearly crying) and in reflection, says (something like) "I can't bear to see such suffering"! He puts his fork down and walks over to the window. Porkys face lights up. And the duck pulls the curtains together and walks back to his table. I laughed my ass off when I saw it as a kid, and I laugh my ass off when I see it now. Absolute gold. TECHNICALLY, Daffy DID end up being drafted...He was made as a mascot for the Air Force. According to the article in Wikipedia, "In the real world, Daffy was indeed "drafted" as a mascot for the 600th Bombardment Squadron." It was a part of the Expeditionary Air Refueling Squadron, a provisional United States Air Force unit. I think Daffy should consider himself honored, especially if it means refueling the jets that helped the soldiers in WW2.

The incident with the baby in the theater reminds me of Jay doing the same thing with then-baby Joe in the Modern Family episode "The Wow Factor." Much like the Daffy Duck version of such event, Gloria conveniently ignored the fact he brought a *baby in a theater where an adult film was playing* and was more obsessed with the fact he temporarily let a mother friend babysit him outside.

I was wondering if anything from Looney Tunes Back in Action be worth mentioning. Thankfully Daffy wasn't able to mess things up too badly in Space Jam. Don't get me wrong I like both movies, but portion of the cast is live action characters not cartoons unlike the Looney Tunes themselves and the scenes that aren't computer animated were actual sets and places So both movies would stand out compare to anything from the shows.

On the first place, i remember there was a classic episode where Porky gives retribution to Daffy. I don't remember the name, but the episode consists on Porky going camping, and Daffy doing everything to ruin it and enjoying because 'duck season' was closed, making anyone who hurted a duck pay a fine. Boy, did that change when the season opens right when Porky asks for a shotgun 😂

The short was 1942's My Favorite Duck. Which also was the first time the duo appeared together in color. It was also the 2nd Looney Tunes color short as well. Unfortunately the original titles to the short are lost but it was rereleased as a Blue Ribbon Merrie Melodies short in 1950.

From “Porky Pig’s Feat” - when he loses his money playing craps so he can’t pay the bill for the room he & Porky stayed in at the Broken Arms Hotel. He caused the hotel manager to tumble down a spiral stairway in one of their comical attempts to escape, all of which failed.
