Just to twist it a bit, does that mean you would've unknowingly accepted money from the streets? You would only die in that case, cause your greed would've had you convinced. Refusal, and your life is spared. Of course, desperation can also blind a person until realization kicks in, and then the mind can change... truly scary to think about. Season 1 did show the hidden kindness from very few, but sadly, it was easily exploited. How terrible humanity can be.

squid game was honestly really creative in my opinion, not the whole kidnapping and making them play games to survive but the ideas of childhood games and the designs are so creative, just something simple as a few shapes on a mask or a huge doll with pigtails in red light green light, apart from the violence, it really was one of the best times I had in life so far.

@@xTrashiee i just replayed the scene. If your read the English subtitles (not listen to the voice dub) you'll see that it said "a hundred million won is at stake FOR EVERY player". Every player has a share in that pot money. Which is why if u lose, but the remaining players decide to quit the game, your family gets your share. But if u win, you get your own share plus the losing players' shares. I think it aligns with the Game's philosophy. If you think about it, once you're in, you're already paid for. You just have to hold on, play the Games fair and square, and get your share (and of those who lost) once it's over.
