Some triceratops were brown, some were black, and some were green. Some males had more colorful frills than females. Triceratops turned their heads in circles when using their horns as a threat. Adults formed a ring around their babies or stood beside one another in front of them to protect them from predators. Triceratops means "three-horned face". Some of them ate bugs🐛🐛. I learned all that from documentaries, a tv show, and books📖📓.

While the form of jurassic franchise velociraptor is based on Deinonychus the size of it was based on Utahraptor Also troodon is a nomen dubiom genus And dilophosaurus didnt have frills just 2 boney crests atop its head ( and it was much larger than what wesee in jurassic franchise , like sex meters in length and 2 meters in hight ) and i doubt it was the largest creature of its time , the largest land predator surely but not the largest land animal or the largest animal

Two things: 1) Megaraptors don't appear in Jurassic Park, and weren't even dromaeosaurs (like the velociraptor and deinonychus), still cool though. 2) Where's the love for Giganotosaurus? They were arguably the largest theropods alive, as in it's either them, Tyrannosaurus or Spinosaurus, but they don't get as much recognition as the other two.

Tyrannosaurus rex IS the biggest carnivore dinosaur known to date in that it had the most body mass. Thus, It would have required a lot of energy to live, so it's very likely that it was both predator and scavenger, like a modern white shark. BTW Yangchuanosaurus is also pretty cool.

5 of my other favorite dinosaurs: 1) Kronasaurus: Often dubbed "The T-rex of the seas". This dinosaur was first dug up in Australia 2) Plesiosaurus: Another famous and popular aquatic dinosaur with a distinct long neck. Im surprised it didn't make the list 3) Argentinosaurus: One of, if not, the largest sauropod first discovered in Argentina 4) Orthiomimus: The dinosaur that's classified as an "egg theif". Possibly related to Gaston. 5) Archaeopteryx. While not technically a dinosaur, much like the Pterodactyl, it was dubbed "the first bird". It had the physique of a raptor that was capable of flight.
