Second honourable mention: that Joe's employees/volunteers helping themselves to the delivery -- and I am guessing the kitchen staff making the pizzas -- first, leaving the just rest to the cats they have ... I am all for reducing food waste: just because it has a 'display by' date, doesn't necessarily mean that it hasn't expired, especially if there is a big gap between the 'display by' and 'use by' dates of several days. But just how low paying is his staff, desperate, or -- worst case -- just plain selfish/greedy, that they get to pick the 'best' of what ever that truck is delivering, instead of having a large enough walk-in, to store all the food being delivered, and after preparing, and feeding, the cats, etc, whatever is still within the 'use by', but close to be being perishable before the next round of feeding, then I can understand them taking it, with permission. However, as for using ingredients that has passed its 'display by' date, but especially 'use by' date, for pizzas made for, and sold to, the general public, that breaks any number of food hygiene laws, and regulations. I hope to God no-one contracted food poisoning, because that is a huge lawsuit in, and of, itself ... And as for the animals essentially be given the leftovers ... Couldn't someone have an arrangement with local slaughterhouses/meat packing plants/butchers that any offcuts, offal, etc, that is still fit for consumption by the, say, tigers, but won't be sold, be donated, and fed only to the animals ...? Or is Walmart all too keen to offload anything past its 'display by' date, and not care where it actually ends up, as it is already 'written off', somehow ...

I'd argue Doc is the worst one in the entire series. The sexual grooming of multiple women at that age is absolutely sickening imho. It's not like he's 24 and they're 18. Choosing their names, vocations, and bribing them with things. Calling himself Lord and Lording over these ppl. The 3rd reason, and this is the final straw for me. Everyone else is too dumb to get away with being a turdnugget. Doc proactively tries to convince you he's normal, or not crazy. He's intelligent enough to convince large groups of ppl he's not scum. That makes him even worse. It's kind of like that guy that makes big dick jokes way too often. Or the guy that makes gay jokes way to often. Or the girl telling you everyday she's not crazy, while she's doing crazy shit. That's Doc in this series. His skeletons would probably bury everyone else's if we knew the truth about him.

No he definitely should have said they had "an accident" or "a serious accident". At that point the arm wasn't even torn off, since the surgeon said they might be able to save the hand, but she chose to amputate it. "Tore it off" sounds much more graphic and dramatic, and I can only imagine what those poor kids were thinking. No, he did not need to specify and give that much detail to families and kids right off the bat, without thinking it through. But mostly, it's the way he DELIVERS the news that are cringey, not the actual news he chooses to deliver. He busts in, no warning no nothing, just describes a horrible accident, asks if the customers want their money back (or come back later again to watch the tiger that tore someone's arm off) , then it's just dead silence. Crickets. For several seconds. You can almost hear the soccer moms judging him. No, he choose to make a big dramatic effect, he wanted to seem important and under control, he saw another opportunity to get the spotlight on himself. And he took the shit out of it. He absolutely did not have to do it like that. In the gift shop, lol. He just did what Joe does best: makes everything about himself. That's just another example of the "funeral singing" argument.

The way he did it. It's wasn't informative, it wasn't comforting, it wasn't business like, it wasn't strategic - he saw an opportunity to take the spotlight once more, and made a dramatic thing out of it. He even exaggerated the accident, in the freaking gift shop. And the way he delivers it. No warning, no heads up, no nothing. You can feel the cringe in the air, and the crickets afterwards. Most of his customers are "wallmart people", but imagine that gift shop being filled with LA soccer moms or educated people... Yikes

I agree that notifying the customers wasn’t exactly cringeworthy, especially if they had been held up for an hour waiting to start their tour. But he didn’t have to go straight for the full shock-value of “ripped off arm.” He could have just indicated that there was a serious incident involving one of the cats and an employee which resulted in a substantial injury.
