How is it that a show this good was able to keep its rating for kids?

@@Madgerger1205 Because it's fairly safe censorship wise to show deaths by laser weapons. Just a burn mark from the shot, no blood or stuff like that. @@jeannahicks7251 Honestly if we forget the originals for a second its probably top 3 easily. Because what you have is the original platform for star wars which is the rebellion vs the empire. With almost entirely original characters, this means Disney can write about an important moment in the rebellion with characters they can't mess up or get wrong. As well as some of the best special effects we've had in star wars, like the death star scenes. Not to mention those characters were some of the best actors star wars has had since the originals. George Lucas is great at world building so they were able to take that and combine it with new characters and make a masterpiece.

Fives death is gut wrenching and easily the saddest moment in Star Wars

Absolutely love Luke’s entire arc in TLJ. Peak Star Wars. Thanks appreciating despite all the negativity.

No scene is more emotional in star wars universe than Fives getting shot, knowing the backstory, having dramatic irony, it's emotional to the point I'm older and I still cry at that scene

Honestly, when Leia died I cried my eyes out, it was just so impactful and sad and such a beautiful final goodbye to Carrie Fischer....it should have been Nr. 1....Grogus goodbye was sad but not nearly as sad as Leias final rest

Fives’ death was the saddest for me. Had my eyes tearing up just watching it in this video 😢

Leia's death was the moment that got me the most. The way it's shot and edited just makes it seem like Leia was accidentally killed by Rey as she was turning Ben. It's honestly peak Star Wars...

All of the Seige of Mandalore has so many moments that just rip your heart out. Honestly some of the absolute best Star Wars content we've ever gotten.

You forgot about Kanan Jarrus death and Chopper reaching out Hera's hand, Gregor death, Ahsoka finding out that Anakin is Darth Vader

Even after 2 years, seeing Leia die (Carrie Fisher's very last scene) still makes my eyes flood with emotions. Even seeing her memoriam in the end credits for The Last Jedi gets me crying. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭💔💔💔

oof, the way "Han Solo" was pronounced was tough but the moments in this list and others within the Star Wars franchise were more devastating to watch in a powerful emotional manner.

Obi-Wan losing Satine? Ahsoka hearing Anakin's voice through Darth Vader's helmet? U did get one right, though. When Rex drops his helmet trying to battle with his mind against killing his best friend leaves me shattered everytime. Then burying the clones with the gorgeous music in the background... 🥺

Seen all ten of these moments over the years and only actually cried with the number one choice. Three other tearful moments were: 1. IG-11’s sacrifice in Mandalorian 2. Kanan Jarrus’ sacrifice in Rebels 3. Watching new trilogy and realising I can’t get that time back

Anakin's death was truly the saddest moment in Star Wars for me. When you think about it, he was a slave his whole life. Slave to the Hutts, Slave to the Jedi, & Slave to Palpatine. Only in his final moments he was truly free. Legendary.

Luke’s last moment with Leia on Crait was emotional because it was like Mark saying goodbye to Carrie, Luke’s last stand and death in general was just sad. Also Chewie’s reaction to losing Leia in TROS always brings a tear

Luke got the perfect bookend, he started his life on a binary sunset, he started his journey on a binary sunset, and both ended on a binary sunset, a life that truly came full circle, the sunset also marks the beginning of his new journey into the cosmic force

I cried a lot during the Clone Wars with so many sad scenes such as Ahsoka leaving the Jedi Order, Five’s Death, Order 66, Satine’s death, Prong Krell making clones go after each other… so many sad moments. 😢

You are missing the ONE SCENE that actually made me cry!!! And that is the death of Caleb Dume/ Kanan Jarrus!!!

I agree with #1. Definitely love the Clone Wars moments here. From Rebels, Ahsoka's duel with Vader from Twilight of the Apprentice and Maul's death from Twin Suns always get me. Also just seeing Obi Wan watch young Luke run at the end of that eps with John Williams' score was 💯

Han Solo’s death is saddest movie death for me. I almost shouted “No!!” at the movies but everyone would shushed me. Still mad at Kylo for that moment!

The ending to the fight between Anakin and Obi-Wan on Mustafar always makes me sad. Revenge of the Sith had a lot of sad moments anyway. - Order 66 - “You Were The Chosen One!” - Padmé dies at childbirth.
