there are far far far more cringy and hilarious madely moments than this video shows. My favourite was when he interviewed Bill Clinton, which was quite a coup at the time because he'd recently been impeached, and he compared his being 'wrongly' accused of shoplifting wine from Tesco to Clinton's situation! Priceless. And agree with others, the voiceover is terrible in this compilation...

Richard Madely? Hmmm. He used to live near where I worked as a car valeter as a teenager. I was in the local shop where Richard would go in and buy his daily bottles of wine once when he dropped a fat stack of £50 notes all over the place, as much as a teen tear away I was, I was certainly no thief and picked up off the floor several hundred pounds worth of fifties and handed him them back. Do you know he did not even say thank you as he snatched them out of my hand, gave me a peculiar filthy look, pretend counted the wad I’d just helpfully picked up off the floor and handed to him, stuffed them back in his pocket, paid the cashier and walked out! From that day forward I have never liked the arrogant prick! Get some manners Madely and stop pretending to everyone you are a nice guy!
