Trevor rubs a lot of people the wrong way. A lot of his teammates and coaches fucking hate him, except Clevinger. They're basically best friends. When Clevinger came up to the bigs he really sucked and the coaches couldn't fix him. So he went and talked to Trevor. They sat down and evaluated everything he was throwing and Trevor told him why he sucked and what he should do to fix it, and Clevinger listened. There's a great SI piece that talks about Trevor Bauer and this type of shit.
