Mickens just seems to have a crazy knack for finding "special" guys. I think Moore is going to be Morrison 2.0 sooner than later. And it makes me excited to see more of Hobbs at CB as the season goes on not to mention Urlacher, Johnson, TBP at S. And, of course, really excited about the '25 class of DBs -- Zachery, Golden, Thomas at CB / Long, Logan, Blair at S. Not worried about the one who got away, just excited about what Mickens will do with the guy in the gold helmets.

I was at that game. Xavier Watts was unbelievable in that game. I beleive he is really becoming a legend. Also, I need to buy that green jersey. Finally a good win in green, the curse in green has been lifted.

I haven't been a big fan of these green jerseys. I thought they looked much better with the white pants than with green-on-green. I know many fans will hate the idea, but I'd love to see ND replace the green somewhere down the road with the early '80s "Madonna blue." I know it isn't a fondly remembered era, but I liked the color. And I think ND could do something cool with it. Much better than the "blue/gray" unis for Shamrock this season (and with those, I don't hate the color, but the overall unis are not good).

Totally agree about green on green - like the kid in the school play trying to look like a plant. Just wonky. Green on white not bad but nothing better than the classic navy and gold!

I loathed the green due to the bad memories & upsets nearly every time we wore them during the Willingham, Weiss, & Kelly years. Freeman seems to be breaking what always felt like a bad omen when worn & agree the green with white pants looks better than the green/green or the older green/gold look.I think that bringing back the Madonna blue would be cool too & they’d look sharp with the white pants as well, just bc the gold might end up looking to similar to UCLA’s.

There was clear holding on a 3'rd down conversion on Louisville's FG drive. Louisville was fortunate ND gifted them 2 turnovers in their own territory, and the refs also missed a clear kick catch interference. I can say NIU was fortunate to get away with a clear PI on the first INT that lead to 3 points. I can also say 2 years ago Marshall was fortunate to get away with PI on that pick 6. Nobody ever acknowledges those, so I might as well since someone wants to say ND got away with one. Watts was making that play regardless. Watts was the reason ND won with the three fourth down stops he made, especially the first being on 4'th and 1 before the half.

great game but our office still looks very very average....there is no way we could be the Michigan,, texas, Georgia, Bama, LSU, Oregan, or ohio state. They defence would stop our run game and so then we have to rely on passing and our passing is at high school level right now. This 5-10 years passing over and over is not going to cut it. We are TE-U and we through to our TE's now like maybe 2 passes a game. Come on.
