Monique Hart’s laugh It’s probs because she fits what most believe believe now to be a drag queen. A few years ago they might’ve gotten Courtney Act because everybody thought queens should look like women but now people people’s idea of drag is exaggerated feminine features which Tracy fits because she is inspired by Barbie.

Most word origin stories that are acronyms are myths. Words didn't form that way until very recently, it just wasn't how our language worked. That's why so many actual acronyms, like RADAR and SCUBA, LASER, GIF, NATO, etc, are very modern inventions.

Don’t forget abt William Dorsey swann (1858). The 1st modern drag Queen who referred to himself as a queen in drag. This drag was less abt performance and more abt community. He got arrested and beaten for the community.

In ancient Greek theatre, only men played the female roles in drag so it's an art which started 3000 years ago. Probably the same was in other ancient civilizations (Indian, Chinese, Egyptian etc)

Shakespeare would put "drag" next to the names of the men playing female parts (in those times women were not allowed in the theatre so all female parts were played by men) as short-hand for "dressed as girl".
