Always nice to feel, here in Montréal, this cool horological breeze from England every week. A breeze embellished with your usual intro music which has now become a reassuring Sunday routine. How soothing it is to be around you for about twenty minutes every seven days. Stuart and his reassuring calm. Josh and his friendly ingenuity. Harry and his contagious curiosity. Jack and his tongue-in-cheek side. Jon and his honest kindness. And, of course, our father figure to all: Hendo-the-White. The Watch Wizard. The Gandalf of horology. The supreme jeweler. The Master of Timepieces. The Myth. The Legend. The Master Crafter. The Shakespearian Repairman (who throws a little beer in the cement to repair the pavement slabs...). In short, a national treasure who should be, well... canonized. Nothing less. Come to think of it, the whole show should be beatified! Your supporters keep growing and the comments don't lie. You are loved. What you are doing is special. Those who adore you do more than praise you: they worship you. You have spoiled us. Our Sundays belong to you. This day is no longer that of the Lord but that of Watchtrader & Co. Amen.

@@Watchtrader You and your Miami colleagues whom I occasionally mention are to me the best in the business. Forget the rest of the competition. If I had multiple lifetimes, I would learn the tricks of the trade and use one lifetime to work with each of you. A life in sunny Miami with Carlos' family and a life in rainy Newcastle with those I would like to call my distant cousins in England, the Motherland. I know it's all about wishful thinking but in dreams you can do whatever you want. See you next Sunday. Dites salut à Hendo de ma part (french) :):):) Je vous adore.

The discontinued Yachtmaster never got the recognition it deserved. Beautiful watch. Such a shame that after a shelf collapsing in HMV and chipping the bezel, mine couldn’t be fully repaired. 😊

The way the silver dial on the AP Chronograph shimmered in the light reminded me of a pave dial, beautiful watch. And that Bremont was as cheap as chips. The brand shot themselves in the foot a few years ago by claiming their movements in house and British made when in fact though some parts were indeed made in England they were basically Swiss movements. But they are making amends on that now and regardless of that they are good quality watches so getting one for the price of a Seiko prospex is a great deal!
